I got my first paycheck!!!!! I was sooooo excited! The manager & owner laughed at me. If you haven't gotten one for a long time.....you can understand how this feels. I feel like I am worth something again....like I count....like I am making a difference in our home! Plus I made $1.00 more an hour than I thought I was making! Thank you, God!!!! Today is Brad and Tara's 16th anniversary!!!! Happy anniversary you 2! Hard to believe it was just 16 years ago her dad was walking up the aisle with her on his arm! It was such a beautiful wedding. Sad to think so many things have changed since then....with the passing of the grandpa's.....my dad, Brad's grandpa, Shorty, and Frank. There are great memories when I think of that day. Tara was the most beautiful bride and all our kids looked so great! Brad looked awesome and it was just a wonderful day! A great way to start off a life together as husband and wife!
Yesterday was frustrating on so many levels. But I got through it. After I got to work it was great....but between WaMu and a submarine I was going nuts. I was almost late for our staff meeting....it went was good. Hopefully I won't have to man a booth at the fair....I will be able to run the gym instead. Sitting at the fair doesn't sound like my idea of fun. I would really like to go this year though! Didn't get to last year because of Papa's recovery. Today I have my echocardiogram. Need to go get a headlight for my van at Kia (it's cheaper there), pick up Andrew and Lauren for the night, get a few groceries, and go to the kids' game tonight! Busy day! My brother, David is suppose to spend the night in the trailer tomorrow night with his girls. That will be so great to see them all again! I get to work tomorrow 10-2. Looks like it will be a busy weekend! Meghan's shower is Sunday, too! Hope you all have a great weekend! May God keep you safe!
