Happy Mother's Day!!!!

Happy Mother's Day!!!!!

Today is Mother's Day! It is a happy/ sad day for so many people! I am sad because I miss my mother-in-law so much! I am happy because I still have my beautiful mom. Here is a picture of the two of them together on June 6, 1987. They became very good friends. I love both of these special women with all my heart and the Lord truly blessed me.
Happy Mothers Day to my two Moms! xoxoI also cannot let Mothers Day pass without bragging about these mom's, too! They are the mothers of my grandbabies.... and they are all amazing mom's! My grandkids are the best, of course, and it is because of these beautiful women below! Thank you, God, for my girls! I love them with all my heart and I am sooooo proud of them! This picture was taken 10 years ago before they even had all their babies! I love this happy picture!I can't let today pass without acknowledging my Blogger BFF Theresa from Georgia! She is one of the kindest, sweetest, most thoughtful person I have been blessed to meet in a long time. And I love her and want to wish her a HUGE happy birthday! Here is your bouquet Theresa!

I posted the picture of Theresa with her beautiful daughter in honor of Mothers Day!

Yesterday was a really good day. Papa mowed the lawn, washed all the vehicles and changed the oil in the truck. I finally cleared off the dining room table of the pictures and put them in a safe, hidden, accessible place. I am so smart! Took a break and ran to Blacks for a beautiful mothers day card from them.... and some gorgeous flowers... yellow tulips! I read the card and said... "Ah, this card is so sweet! It makes me cry!" Of course Lauren is standing next to me and says matter-of-factly "You're not crying." Kids are great! lol! I came home and cleaned off the back deck. So much stuff piles on it. Mostly my stuff that needs to go to the garage. I think if I set it on the table or bench... papa would eventually take it to the garage and find a safe home for it. No such luck. He can ignore things for the longest time. Did you ever see that episode of Everybody Loves Raymond.... with the suitcase on the stairs? That is us! I thought it was the best episode ever! It doesn't show it all but here is the link if you want to check it out:

We went to Dylan's game and got to sit out in the bleachers in the sun. It was nice... not too hot! Here is Maddie enjoying her ice cream cone... what is she hiding behind that hand????
Dylan's team lost by two points... but they played good. Here is Dylan throwing the ball in.

After the game we took mom's laundry to her and one of the DVDs my cousin made for me of some old country singers singing together. It was so great!!!! We loved it! Mom would tell us who some were that we weren't sure of. We are watching another one today at my house! Came home and had the best steak ever!

Plans today are cleaning a bit (did most of it yesterday). Mom is coming over after church. Papa is going to clean mom's car inside and out. Kevon and Meghan are coming for dinner. I have a roast in the oven now... will add onions, potatoes, and carrots later. Voila! Dinner is served! Might go buy a dessert and rolls. I love roast.

Karla called already! Her and Maddie wished me Happy Mother's day! She has to work today. Tara's daughter has baseball tournaments all day. Black's have special plans for their family... hope they stop by for dessert! Heather is coming next weekend! Can't wait!!! It seems like so long since we've seen them and the kids!!! Yesterday I told Heather to tell Parker he was weird for how he answered the phone. His reply "ok" You have to know Parker to appreciate this... you can just hear it softly come out of his mouth. lol! I miss them! We are going to have a grandkids sleepover Saturday night! Praying they all get to come! All 10! How fun is that!

You all have a wonderful Mother's Day being thankful for what you have....
I thought it would be good to close with this verse honoring mom's....
