Yesterday was a great day! Started out by picking up Andrew, Lauren, Maddie and Dylan and going to see Mr Magorium! It was actually a really cute movie.

Came home after taking Maddie and Dylan home... and guess who got on the computer and wouldn't let me get his picture!

Lauren loved how the toy room looked! She played in there, had lunch in there, watched tv in there and played video games in there! We hardly saw her! She was very flushed since the movies... you could see it in the picture. Had mac & cheese and turkey sandwich for lunch. She put her jamas on right when we got to my house! She always does!

Then something exciting happened! The mail man came into my driveway with a box!!! I don't know who was more excited... me, Lauren, Andrew or the cat! My blogger friend Theresa (from Georgia) sent me the package. I'm not sure why.... except she is soooo sweet! Andrew did most of the opening... and Lauren did most of the looking through the box. The cat checked it out...

but she preferred the wrapping!!! You can kind of see some of the nice stuff I got... but Lauren put most of it away before I could spread it out for pictures. I got some of the nicest things! Thank you Theresa! I loved it so much! What a boost to my day!!!

We made spaghetti for dinner and ate before leaving for the game. The game was awesome! The added bonus to the game was Don, Heather and the boys were there and Carrie!!!! It was great to see them. Since it was sprinkling off and on I had to be in the dugout to keep score so didn't get to see them much... but will this weekend! Anyway.. we had just enough players. S-I-L Brad played and got his first home run for the team!!! Everyone was pretty excited for him!

Here is Jay, Brad and Jeff (Jerk is his nickname)...

S-I-L Joel did an excellent job pitching the two games last night!!! And Tara was a great second baseman! She caught fly balls, put runners out at second, and just did amazing!

Karla was great catching as usual! The ump got a bit fresh with her.... on accident I think. lol! She got dirt in her eyes (contacts you know) and it got rough. But with one eye she did great and caught a fly ball. She also made stops with her shins, crotch and jaw! She gets pretty beat up playing catcher!

My boys! I love these guys! My adopted boys... Jeff (Jerk) and Jay!!!! Super hitters with super speed!!!

Jessica and daughter in law Amanda posing for a picture for me!

I love this picture of Karla and Jay... as usual it looks like Jay is bugging Karla and she is tolerating it!

The Strangers! The whole team isn't here... it is missing Ryan, Kevon, Meghan, Rachel, Amanda and Nick. But since it is technically our last game.... and we always take a picture at the last game.... I had to get one!
We have Lezli, Tara, Amanda, Derrence, Jessica, Jeff, Jay, Brad, Karla and Joel!!!

Came home after the game and Papa was home! I woke at 7:30 from a dreadful dream, Lauren woke a few minutes ago (9) and Andrew and Papa are still asleep. Still not sure why papa is home? He's been asleep since I got up.
Not sure what the plan is today..... I know what I want to do but that doesn't mean I can!
It is birthday of some very special people today!!! Deannie is our adopted mom (she is technically Lanny's step mom) up in Forks is having a birthday today! She has an awesome Bed & Breakfast up there! If you ever get to Forks... book with her! But do it early because she is sooo busy! Happy birthday to Deannie... one of the kindest ladies and best hostesses I know! I don't have the best picture of her but I have the link to her place!
http://www.shadynookcottage.comAlso our brother in law... Bruce is having a birthday... (that would be Deannie's son in law and Rhonda's husband). He is a quiet guy, nice guy and we really like him! Lanny loves to just sit and visit with him.

I also have two great buddies from high school and beyond that mean alot to me. Today is their birthdays!!! One is Rob Thomas (pictured with Denice and myself at our last reunion). He is such a sweetheart of a guy! He was our homecoming king and now he is owner of Rob Thomas Construction. I can always count on this guy to give me a good reference, talk to, and just be my friend. Even if we don't talk for a long time.... we get right back where we were when we do.
The second one is Tom Larsen. He is such a funny guy! We have been friends since high school too and have hung out together since 9th grade! He really isn't as dangerous as he looks here in the photo! I love these guys and want to wish them a very happy birthday with many more happy & healthy ones to come!

Weather To Expect:
As we head into the afternoon showers will become more widespread and everybody will have the chance of seeing some thunderstorms. High temperatures will be running in the mid to upper 60s.
Friday will still bring a few showers to Western Washington. Highs will be in the low 70s and upper 60s to round out the work week.
As we head into the weekend, summer is coming back in a big way. Some morning clouds Saturday and Sunday with mostly sunny skies for the afternoon. The sun will stick around early next week with temperatures climbing back up into the 80s.

She surely is a sweet and thoughtful person. Glad it made your day!
Well, I am glad it made it:) I was beginning to think someone else got YOUR surprise! Happy that all of you enjoyed opening it and looking thru the goodies. You are a great friend and I am thankful for you! Love all the pictures from the ballgame.
Love to all and have a blessed day.
Hey Joyce, My computer sent the same comment twice. So I deleted the second one. Didn't want you to think I was losing my marbles:)
