What a great Saturday!

This morning was a bit weird. I woke up a bit disoriented I think. I looked at the clock and got up and opened the bedroom door and yelled "HELLO?" expecting papa to answer from the kitchen. He was asleep in his chair. I wondered why he wasn't going to work and checked on him to see if he looked alright. Then it dawned on me it wasn't Monday.... it was Sunday!!! duh! Went back to bed and didn't get up til almost 8!

Our Saturday was great. Woke up with grandkids here which is always awesome. I go in and look at them and sometimes take a picture like I did yesterday morning. Took some pictures at breakfast of Andrew and Lauren drinking their bunny (Chocolate milk) and eating Biscuits and Gravy.
oops... almost lost his milk!
After breakfast we were taking some silly pictures of us.... It was fun!
Andrew guessed the clip... made him smile. It was Bear in the Big Blue House. Amanda picked them up. They went to Jordy's game and to spend time with Grandma Jeanette and Parker!!! We went to Dylan's game and I got these pictures:
Here is Maddie.... she looked adorable! Then her giving me some huggings!
Joel, Karla and Dylan watching the game. The parents are so into the game they don't notice me taking pictures. lol
Here is coach Jay. He was on the other team... I walked over to say hi to him. Not to wish him luck or anything but to say hi.
Maddie and her friends eating fruit! These were her buddies she played with all season and she is so happy I took the picture because she is making a scrapbook!
Here is Dylan with the final strike! That is his mom jumping up in front of the camera! She was oozing with pride!!! Can't blame her there! He was awesome! They won 19-9. The game was filled with drama, injuries, and fun! Perfect game to watch. Today we go back at 1:00 for game two in the tournament.

Jordy won, lost, and lost yesterday so they don't play anymore. They play their tournaments all in one weekend. That seems a bit hard. Especially on the kids and the families can't make plans. When we found out when the other games were papa was resting and then I was resting when the next text came through! That sun was a bit much for papa. Maybe for me too! Got home from Dylan's game and noticed I have quite a sunburn. Thankfully my lip didn't burn. Those who have known me a long time know that is a possibility. I must have been scowling most of the game because I have 3 lines in my forehead. nice. I took a 2 hour nap! Just climbed into bed and out I went.

I got my rejection letter. Didn't get that job. Surprise, surprise.

Ryan came and got Sandygirl last night. I miss her this morning. What a sweet dog. I felt so happy for her cuz she was soooo excited!!! Then they were in the driveway and papa had his hood up in the car and she tried to jump in the engine thinking it was the back end of a van or durango. Poor thing. She didn't get hurt and it was a bit funny. lol. Papa went to check on Sandy... not his car. He loves that dog. Yesterday morning papa got up and she was laying in the den by her kids.... she came out and said good morning to papa and then he watched her go back in and lick Lauren's cheek as if saying "I'm still here." and then she laid down on the floor by them again. Sweet moment.

Today is Flag Day. Papa is going to put out our flag. It was 12 years ago we all went down to Goldendale for David and Annettes wedding. Karla, Tara and Heather were all pregnant, and swelling from the ride and heat. Heather had Parker less than 2 weeks later. He just placed the flag as I type!

This morning Brad and Tara are coming over for the trailer. They're taking it to Yellowstone this summer. That will be fun for them! Then we go to Dylan's game at 1. Excited for that! That's about it! Hope the rest of your weekend is wonderful. May His protection be over us all!

Weather To Expect:
More extensive morning cloud coverage on Sunday will keep temperatures in the low 70s for the second half of your weekend. Some sun is expected to break out after the morning clouds Sunday afternoon. We'll keep it dry with mostly sunny conditions into the work week. The next chance at seeing a few showers will be late Wednesday and Thursday.
