Saturday! I love Saturdays!

Good morning... slept til 7 so I am starting late again today....

Yesterday seemed really quiet. Dylan called when he got back from Fort Flagler. He loved it! He had sooo much fun! I called him later and he had lost some of his "excitedness" and sounded so tired. But last night he had a game at 7:30 (his last one) and he played great! It was fun! Me, Karla, Joel and Jay watched Dylan smack it into right field off one of his best friends Riley (pitching). It was great! When Dylan went up to bat Riley kept smiling from the mound... and I am pretty sure Dylan was while batting, too. Friends. Makes it fun. When the game was just about over I went by my van and took pictures of Dylan in center field. He played 2nd, shortstop, left & center field. It was his last game.

The weather cooled down. In fact the grass is wet so we must have had a sprinkle. See, my southern friends... we live here because it RARELY hits 90. We don't like extreme anything in Western Washington. lol! It has been beautiful, though, and I'm not complaining. I loved it. We always have a bit of a breeze coming off the water, too. It didn't hit 90 at my house (sorry to those who got it).

Nobody got yesterdays tv clip. It was Just Shoot Me and that is David Spade's voice. I liked that show.

Well, I wasn't sure whether to tell you all or not. It usually never amounts to anything anyway.... but if you've been following me for a couple years on this trip you know I've been looking for a job. Had 2 part time ones that didn't last. You heard me all excited when I got it and crying when I lost it. So... I guess I'll let you know what is happening and ask for prayers. I check for jobs all the time and put out resume's... last night I got a call for an interview for a receptionist job in Silverdale .... full time! It is the first call I've had in awhile... so I am excited. But apprehensive. I've been let down SO MANY TIMES. It hurts and it is so discouraging. I'm going to brush up on my interview skills and read all I can and pray and see what happens. That's all I can do... my best and leave the rest to God.

Please pray for our son-in-law, Brad.... he is in his first Triathlon today. Pray he stays strong, no injuries, and does well! Thanks!

Papa is already out washing vehicles. His car has never been so dirty! They've been sitting in those dirty, dusty park and rides. I know they don't look that dirty in this picture... but believe me they are. He's pretty particular about the vehicles being clean. Plus he has to keep busy. He was going to mow today but the grass is really wet. Well, some friends of ours, Lester and Cheryl, are coming over this afternoon around 1:oo to visit! I'm so excited to see them again! It's been a long time! We used to get together every week! They've been our friends for 20 years... at least. They know and love our kids and grandkids. And we've always been there for each other. Especially raising teens! lol!

I'm making a doctor appointment next week. Some things aren't feeling right with me. You know, how you kind of know? Things I need to discuss with my doctor. See what is happening. No worries.

I missed "FRIDAY FILL-IN'S" ... so I'll do it today:
1. As much as I love it... it's been nice to get out of my home.

2. My favorite thing for dinner lately has been anything easy.

3. Our neighbor hood is so quiet... unless it's Toby we never hear: bark! bark! bark!

4. A nice long walk is would be wonderful.... wish my back thought so.

5. After this job interview, I could really use some good news.

6. When all is said and done, all you have left is family and God.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to Maddie and possibly Dylan spending the night, tomorrow my plans include (which is really today... visiting with friends, and Sunday, I want to go to church!

That's about it for me now. Need to go wash some windows and clean up some. You all take care and have an awesome day!

I will pray for you that your interview goes well. Joyce, just be yourself! You are a kind, loving, smart person and if that comes through you will get the job.

I love your new background. I think you might be more fickle than I am. Didn't think that was possible. I'll pray for your job interview. You don't even have to be told that what's meant to be will be. Just keep a positive attitude and maybe this will be "the" one you've been waiting for. But if not, well, we'll just keep on looking. I wish my hubby hated a dirty car. He seems to look the other way.

Howdy from Georgia! I will be praying about the interview. Hope that if you want it, it will be yours. Have a great Saturday, enjoy your visit with your friends and the grandchildren's sleep-over. Oh yeah, tell Papa my car is dirty too:) Love to all!
