great day yesterday... I love those!

Yesterday was fabulous. I felt free at last! Thank you Jesus!!!

After I got back from the first trip across the bridge with papa.... I came home and posted etc.... then packed up the cat (which is never easy to put a big cat in a carrier) and drove to moms! I called her on the way and she was still in bed (almost 8 am) so I told her we were on our way... she was so excited! Mr. Morrison was very cautious when we got there... like he always is. But it didn't take him long to get used to it all again. Mom was SO HAPPY with her yard when she came home! Kevon and Andrew went over and mowed and weedwhacked the night before she got home. She was so surprised and pleased.

Mom and I then went to Karla's to drop a few things off and watch Maddie on the trampoline. Maddie practically ignored me and went to hug Grandma! hmmm. I'll remember that. lol! Then we went and got a McGriddle and to Walmart for a few necessities. We had such a great time being together again! Seems like she's been gone forever! I missed her so much! After I dropped her home I had to leave because I had some frozen stuff. It wasn't even 11 am! But I sure enjoyed my morning! Nothing else to write about except by evening it was so nice to see papa come home at a decent hour!!! It was so hot last night neither one of us slept well. I even had the bedroom cooling off all day!!! I'm wondering.... what are you all doing to stay cool?

Tara guessed NCIS. Today's clip is hard. I liked this show.

Got a text from friend Jeff yesterday with a Bible verse. Sweet kid.

Sad my friends cousin passed away in Georgia. Please pray for the family. It's so hard to lose a loved one!

I kind of miss moms cat... but not. I'm not nervous something will happen anymore.
It is FRIDAY!!!! Looking forward to the weekend! No plans but still happy we could make some if we wanted to! lol! I think Dylan's last game is tonight! Will probably go see it... cuz I can!!!!! He'll be exhausted from his 5th Grade Camp at Fort Flagler.

Do you like my new summer background? Tried to make it really summery. I love it!

May God bless your weekend with lots of love and laughter.

Did anyone see or hear any storm last night? I slept so bad... but we didn't have nothing! Got this on the Kiro site:
Updated: 3:05 am PDT June 5, 2009Storms from the south brought thunderstorms and power outages to the Puget Sound region.Thursday night storms knocked out power to more than 14,000 customers in King, Pierce, Kitsap and Thurston counties, KIRO 7 reported.Power crews from Puget Sound Energy and Seattle City Light worked throughout the night to restore power to affected areas.Thursday's storms came on the forefront of a cooling trend to the Puget Sound area, which has seen record temperatures for the past few days.KIRO 7's Chief Meteorologist Rebecca Stevenson predicted that Friday would have morning clouds, followed by partly sunny skies, with a chance of showers in the mountains.

Forecast:

After a blustery night the weather settles today with clouds, sunbreaks, and much cooler temperatures. There's a slight chance of a few showers, mostly in the Cascades where there's also a chance of thunder. Seattle highs hit the mid 70s.

Marine air continues to push in through early next week keeping a mix of clouds, sunbreaks, and highs in the 60s and low 70s. Expect just a slight chance of showers, increasing Tuesday. Mountain showers will also pop up in the Cascades periodically this weekend.

You are such a sweetheart! Thanks for the offer to help me with a memorial site. I may want to do one at some point for my Mama and Daddy but don't have enough pictures of Marie. We were much closer as kids than as adults and for that I am sorry. I am REALLY close to her Mama who is my Mama's sister and after my Mama passed away we stay in touch with her. I LOVE your new background. It is happy and I can almost smell suntan lotion:) I am glad you are free to get away from you corner of the world via the new bridge. Glad your Mama is back and that she and Mr. Morrison enjoyed their vacation! I am so thankful for blogging and that thru Kelly Kelly that I met such a wonderful friend. Reminds me of a verse... not sure if this is exactly right but "how can you love God who you have not seen if you don't love man who you have seen"! I have never seen you face to face but I can tell you that I appreciate your kindness and caring about me who you have never met! Love to you and your family from the other side of the country!
