Good Friday morning!!!! Notice the title of my post today? My dad used to say that so we all still say it. lol! This post is all about my perspective on things....
Papa is off this morning so that is always good. Got a full 8 hours sleep.. until my back got me up. Sandy spent the night with us again for fun... she loves to come visit. She's very comfortable here and such an easy and good dog to have. I caught a picture of Punkin swatting the screen trying to show Sandy who is boss... she looks at him like "What is your problem?" Sandy is so mellow.
My niece, Hilary, guessed the clip... it was My Name is Earl. I really thought Karla would have gotten that one. That is one of her favorite shows. I'm not sure how many of you watch today's clip. It is a bit tough. I know Amanda watches it.
Today is the date the bridge was scheduled to open! So happy it opened a week earlier. Life has been sweet since it opened. I am surprised I handled the closing so well. I have some issues. I know it shocks some of you. lol! I am very claustrophobic. It goes further that being locked in small areas. I hate being in spots I can't get out of easily. Such as a dentist chair. While they are in your mouth you are pretty stuck. Another one is during child birth... you have to get through it... no turning back! In middle seats of a theater or such place. I hate it. In the very back seat with no doors like in a van or VW bug. I panic inside just a bit and have to get myself in control. On a bus... if I cannot get out without looking insane I hate it. I like flying but the plane is another place I am stuck... really stuck!!! I'd be arrested for freaking out there! My biggest fear ever (I can't even watch this part in Double Jeopardy movie) is being buried alive in a coffin. I hate even being alone at night because I am afraid of the dark and the what if's. I feel stuck in the house because outside is scarier. Tanning beds weren't bad because I could open them anytime. My last MRI was open... I know I have to go for another one soon... hope it is open. My cure to get me through tough times.... prayer and I build a house in my mind to distract me. The bridge going down for a month gave me that panic feeling! I knew I would be stuck over here. I had no car to even leave my neighborhood to go anywhere. I had to pray before it went down and God was great.... I hardly thought about it at all. Anyhow... now you know how strange I really am and why I am thankful I am connected with everyone again.
Enough of that.... I'm sure some of you found it boring and others strange and others could relate. I found a new blog today... I just loved reading about her wedding. That is why I am slow starting here today. I got wrapped up in her wedding pictures.
Today is the day I get to hear all the bad news going on in the world from papa as he sits at his TV with his coffee at the counter (morning ritual). Today I laughed so hard! Chastity Bono has decided to turn into a man and call himself/herself Chaz. Watching his face watching the story cracked me up.
I've been watching "I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here". I love this show. I love Steven Baldwin. He is a Christian but he shows that Christians are just normal people that believe in Christ as their Savior. He isn't pious.... he is his joking self and I love it... not perfect but is who he is. Then there is Janice Dickenson. Oh, excuse me...Supermodel Janice Dickenson. She is nothing like I thought she would be. She is a diva (which I knew)... but she chews grossly with her mouth open, steals right on camera and lies to everyone about it, in the middle of the night climbed out of her cot and peed on the side of it! (Urine attracts rats which attracts snakes the announcement said... and asked them not to do it.) She denied doing that too. She is lazy and always sick so she can't be in any competitions. She is strange.
I love this show! http://www.nbc.com/im-a-celebrity/I have got to tell you that you're never too old to learn new tricks! I found some beauty tips to share that are awesome! I have found that sometimes my Body soap dries my skin out... so I will at times put shampoo on my scrubby. It cleans good and a little goes a long ways. Also.. instead of buying expensive shaving cream you can use hair conditioner to shave your legs! Cheaper. And we all have little or large crevices in our bodies that sweat... stick deodorant in those places after a shower stops the sweating (under breasts etc). Those are my tips for the day!
Hope you have a wonderful Friday! I love Fridays! God bless and be good!

It is funny what we learn about our blogger buddies! I don't like to sit in a backseat and if I have a choice, the outter seat for me too. Will try the beauty tips, thanks and I hope you have a marvelous day!
I can relate to some of those issues. I can't stand being a passenger in a car, I have to drive (or tell someone how to drive)
I use baby powder after a shower. (vanilla scented) and the Kirkland brand conditioner works great for shaving cream and way cheaper. It comes in huge bottles and we never use the conditioner as fast as the shampoo anyway.
Glad the bridge is open too. We went to Fort Worden with Caitie's class on Tuesday. Much nicer, wider bridge.
Enjoy your weekend!
Thanks for the crack and crevice tips! Your are always a wealth of info. Pic of Lanny is funny. We are still cracking up....no pun intended!!!! LOL
