tgif, don & lois, the candidates.....

I am so glad it is Friday! And so happy it is payday and papa's day off! I'm going to the garage this morning to go through some pictures. We have to run errands today, too. Rita is meeting Don & Lois across the boat and taking them to the crematorium today to pay and sign paper. Another tough hurdle. Yesterday they went through some of his stuff. Rick was there when I got there....then Rita, Ricky and Vicky came over. Thank you all who have been so generous with their love, prayers and money. I think D & L have enough to pay for the cremation. That is good. I'm praying they don't incur any debt during this. Emotionally they are doing ok. Taking one day at a time. I took a printing from the website to them so Lois and Denise read your comments etc.... and cried, of course. They are really feeling the love and prayers from you all. This has drawn them closer to the Lord. Donny's obituary is posted in his memorial site and it was also put in the Kitsap Sun today: http://www.kitsapsun.com/news/2008/oct/16/donald-culton-38/

Worked last night. Then came home and put my feet up. They are so swollen lately! Reminds me of the Karla and Heather when they were pregnant and their feet looked like fat sausages! Now mine do. Yes, I emailed my dr and am waiting to hear from her. I just know I am retaining water. We watched the "Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner" charity event. McCain and Obama were so funny during their speeches. That is what this campaign needs...some levity! Did you see Sarah Palin is going to be on Saturday Night live? I think that is great! I love the fact they are all poking fun at each other....but mostly themselves. Life is too short not to have some humor. If you missed it on Fox News last night....you can watch them on You Tube:

What's Ahead: A cold front sweeping out of British Columbia today will increase our chance of getting wet this afternoon and evening. Expect highs to be about normal for mid October, near 60 degrees with southwest wind 10-15 mph. Rain turns to showers late tonight as lows drop to the upper 40s.
High pressure moves the clouds out of here tomorow so expect a mostly sunny afternoon following some morning fog. Same story on Sunday with high 50s both days.
Monday will be a rainy, breezy day and showers will come to an end Tuesday.
