exhaustion, losing, and poster stands......

I am still exhausted. Wow.....last night I could not fall to sleep. I hate those nights. I have a doctor appointment this morning. I hate follow up appointments.... they are a waste of money and time.... but I guess it is something I have to do. I just heard from my doctor the other day and she said my tests were great. oh well. It is what it is.

Yesterday I made biscuits and gravy for the kids for breakfast and Dylan and I watched the Seahawks get their butt kicked....we stopped watching when the Giants scored their 6th touchdown..... and we'd only got 2 field goals. Not sure what the final was. The girls made posters (drew pictures on these little pieces of paper) to sell. Papa set up a table and chairs outside....I served them lunch out there and they were happy when the neighbor kid up the road came with money. Me, Andrew, and Dylan bought posters, too. Wish other people would have stopped. It was cute. We finished off the day playing bunco....Papa, Andrew & Dylan against me, Maddie and Lauren. We felt like the seahawks.....lost bad!!!! It was fun though. The parents picked up the kids in the afternoon. Papa and I watched 24. One more dvd left... the end of season 6 and we will be done. That's sad.

Today is Rita Langager's birthday! She was married to my brother Rick and is the mom of my nephews Ricky, Ronnie and niece Vicky! She is more like a sister to me. She is a super person and this family loves her!!! Hope you have a happy birthday, Rita! Well, hope you have a good day today. Sure feels like Monday. Be careful, be safe.

What's Ahead: A Fall storm arrives later today with rain moving in from the coast. Wind will kick up overnight and through tomorrow morning. Showers and sunbreaks rule the rest of the work week for Seattle, with drier weather in line for the weekend.
