Ryan's life took a few wonderful turns by the time 2003 came.... 10 years after the last birthday and he turns 26.... a wife and 2 kids later! Here is is with Lauren!In 2005 with Andrew and Lauren Ryan turns 28 years old!
Today is birthday day! Our son Ryan turns 31! Called him last night and texted him this morning. I'll write more above about our ry-guy! He was one of my best friends in high school and beyond! I love this guy! And it is Jennifer Gesell's bday...I've only known her for just over a year and she moved away!!!! She led the music for kidstuf with an amazing voice... the kids may remember her because her dad came over and took our family picture last Christmas. We were becoming very good friends and I miss her so much! Anyway HAPPY BIRTHDAY EVERYONE!!!!
Worked last night and went to see Charlie (Meghan's grandpa who just had his knee replaced) after work. Saw his wife in the parking lot and just missed Meghan. Went up there and he was laying there sleeping with his glasses on. I know how tired Lanny got in the hospital and slept any chance he could... especially after company left..... so I snuck out. Called Meghan and they invited me to Sizzler so I had a nice dinner with Meg, Mary Kay and Dorothy.
People have been wonderful emailing me back regarding my fundraiser dilemma and my bridge closure dilemma. I love my friends and associates.
When Maddie was here last weekend and we were all having our "church" Sunday morning....we were talking about making right choices. Maddie told me about a kid that got in line and said he hated another kid. Maddie told him "we don't have 'hate pools'....we only have 'like pools' and 'love pools'." It started when the girls wanted to know who I loved more..... I said I have a big love pool and they both swim in it! And I don't have a hate pool cuz it would be dirty and stinky.... so if I don't have one no one can be in it. It all made sense at the time. lol! Nice to know the kids pay attention!
That was so sad to hear about 7 year old boy Ethan Smith who died from an accident at Armstrong Fitness Gym in the weight room. I am praying for the family. Gyms can be dangerous for little ones.....that's why they have to be over 12 in our gym.... tho Andrew doesn't like that rule. Of course....our gym is open 24 hours so I guess it could happen there when no staff is present. So sad. Keep the family in your prayers. I can't imagine.
