The girls always have fun together! Goof balls!
Back to Monday. This week is Native American Week. Next week is the first Thanksgiving and Pilgrims. Then we will try to teach them what it means to be thankful. Pretty tough for a group of 4 and 5 year olds but we will do our best. lol!
The girls and I went to WalMart to find shoes for Maddie. She needs little white Keds....not easy to find this time of year!!!! So the search is on. Karla checked the shoe store already. I lost the girls. Or they lost me. I put them in my sweatshirt and zipped them together while they went to wash their hands (not far from where I was browsing). They didn't come back. I checked the bathroom, I checked Game Stop, I checked every aisle in the whole store (and that is a super walmart so it is big)... I checked toys, I checked books. I go up front and have "Maddie and Lauren" paged to the Game Stop. Here they come. Maddie almost starts crying when she saw me! They were getting scared too! We all prayed and searched....just in opposite sides of the store! I reminded them about the story I read to them with Ernie and Maria...where Ernie gets lost in the dept. store and after panicking he did what Marie taught him and went to one of the workers up front to page Maria. That is what they should have done. But your first instinct is to search. It was mine too. Scary!
Then we went to the Walmart in Bremerton and stuck together. They didn't have any Keds either. Took Maddie to rehearsal....changed her into her pretty white shoes....and left her with her Big Sister. Lauren and I went to Fred Meyer....no Keds there either. We took pictures of what Lauren wants for Christmas. Picked up Maddie and went to my school! They were very helpful as I put up Indian and Thanksgiving stuff. It looks awesome in there. There was also a rotting pumpkin we threw away. ewwww. Took the girls home and went home to rest. Caught up on Greys Anatomy, Private Practice, and Parenthood. Love those shows.
Well.... papa came out of the shower and said we have a leak..... water getting on the bathroom floor from the wall. That isn't going to be cheap to fix! Oh well. Kevon is coming over tonight to check it out for us.
Hope you all have a great Monday and week to come!

Those two are too cute!!! I am happy you found each other. That is scary to get separated In a big store. Hope the leak isn't costly:( Enjoy hour Monday my friend. Hugs
Laugh OUT Loud! those two look like peas in a pod...I remember having some sort of really big WAX lips when we were kids and you could chew the flavor out of them....(ewwwww)now that I think back on it...why would ANYone want to chew on wax....? Sounds like your weekend was full, but glad to see at the end that you put your feet up and rested! ARGH! I hate leaks...Had to fix one (with a toilet though) in the old house that was discovered during inspection. Hope you don't end up spending an arm and a leg...**if you do...you have enough grands who LOVE YOU enough that they will carry you around til the arm and leg grow back. ;-p Hugs to you Joyce...send us a pic of your Indian week, specially if you dress for it. xo
