Ready for Thanksgiving.... bring it on!!!!!

You cannot believe how much rain and how heavy it has been lately!  It is so nasty to drive in!  But this morning I don't drive grandkids to school so I don't have to leave here until 8:30... a few hours later than normal. I slept in until 6:30....which is huge for me!
Yesterday at school we had 16 kids! Crazy, I tell you!  Did find out our room is legally set up for 18. Allison's is set up for 14....and Sarah's is for 21!  Now, I am not sure if that means children or total with adults?  If the second is the case.... we were limited with two teachers.  One little boy, Cooper, went over to Mrs. Burke's class. He may be transferring over there. He is a sweet little boy who's daddy is over in Afghanistan.  Any way.... Veronica and I made pumpkin pie with 15 kids. Wow....that was fun. Actually it wasn't as bad as I thought. We made 4 of them. Lots of parents coming, I think. Papa is picking up whipping cream for me. I may pick up cupcakes on my way for people that don't like pumpkin pie? Anyway.... at 11:00 we are having lunch with a couple of seniors from next door. They are coming over. We are setting up all the kids tables and an adult table in my classroom. It will be nummy!  Then after body rest (nap time) at 3:00 parents are invited over for Pumpkin pie time! And my plan is.... most of the parents will take the kids home when it is over! We may have some late kids....Veronica is closing for me if she is feeling up to it.   Maddie has a special award presented to her today at school.... but it is at 11:00 and there is no way I can go. :(
Tomorrow is THANKSGIVING!!!!  Loving it! So happy!!!!  Coming to my house is Karla, Joel, Maddie, Dylan, Ryan, Amanda, Andrew, Lauren, Kevon, Don, Lois, Denice, and my friend Veronica! It will be fun.... Amanda is making the turkey, potatoes, gravy, and stuffing! Wow, huh?  Karla is bringing Green Bean Bake, olives, cranberries!  I am bringing Mac & Cheese, Rolls, Pies, and stuff....Lois is bringing sweet potatoes and blackberry cobbler.  Lots of good food, football games, table games, and family. I am jazzed.
Well, have to go watch Dancing with the Stars I recorded last night before work! Have a great day everybody! My readership has dropped drastically.  Comment. Let me know you are here! I still feel good about my decision to make this private....for my friends and family. :D
