Girls night out! It was so nice!!!!!!!

It is Saturday morning and a bit cold.  I don't even want to read my blog from yesterday. I know I was down.  But today is Saturday and I am much better!! Have a busy weekend!  Jordy has a game this morning....Lauren and I have to go buy a present for her friend Anika....then I am taking her to the birthday party at the pool.  She is all stressed out about taking a swimming test to go into the deep end. She will have fun with all her friends and I need to refocus her on that!  Then we pick up Maddie on the way home and they are both spending the night. Tomorrow I need to take Maddie to her Pageant Rehearsal. It is 2 hours!!!! Busy weekend! If I didn't have any grandchildren I would be bored to tears! lol!

Last night I went to dinner with our teachers!!! It was fun!!! We laughed and talked and had so much fun! We learned more about each other and we are doing it every month!  We went to Azteca's. It was much needed.  Only me, Veronica, Allison and Sarah.  Placed in that order! I love these girls!!!!!! We looked forward to it all day!!!! I think we have really bonded!

I am glad the week is over. It was fun...and then it wasn't. It was Fairy Tale week.... we made crowns, magic wands, and drew castles.  I hate crafts.  Purple was our color and Q was our letter. How fun.  Next week we are studying "Native Americans", "Indians", or "American Indians". It depends on how p.c. you want to be and who you are talking to....I don't find the term Indian derogatory or offensive. That is what they have always been and always will be and most of the older ones see it that way.  Anyway... we are making Tom Toms out of oatmeal containers, we are making a head dress, we are coloring teepee's.  My friend Cindy is part Blackfoot.... she works for one of the Middle Schools as Indian Ed. person....she is coming Thursday to talk to the kids about the Indians in this area....how they differ from the Plains Indians.  It should be really good!  We have to already think about Christmas!!!! I put Veronica in charge of leading the singing and Marcie is going to help me too.

Well....best go get ready for the day and wake up Lauren.
