Can't believe it has been 27 years since this day! So much has happened
and changed over the years.... our babies have grown up and
given us 10 new babies to love and enjoy! We've gone through 5 homes,
22 pets, and 10 auto's. We've welcomed
people into our lives and home....gained and lost friends and family
along the way... and been through some scary episodes....but somehow
this family stuck together through it all. Lanny & I have had our
share of heartbreak, laughter, sorrow, uncertainty, doubts, but tons of
love that overcame it all. We've definitely had our days of sickness,
health, richer, poorer, better and worst! You learn when the world is
against you to stick together. Marriage isn't easy. Ruth Graham says
"Marriage is Daily". But it sure is worth it. The main ingredient that
held our marriage together was God. There is no way we would have
lasted without Him being the glue and not letting us quit. He changed
hearts, softened hearts, and blessed us beyond belief. We give Him all
the praise and thanks!!!!

That journey of marriage is so intense, and those that stick it out get to the destination where they realize that all along it isn't SURVIVING the relationship as two people living together...it's the THRIVING in the two people constantly BECOMING ONE! Only gets better - doesn't it? The more we get used to each other and accept the differences instead of fighting it...the more marriage fits like a comfortable old slipper that just molds to our foot. It has become our favorite and most comforting shoe to wear. That's me! My hubby is my most favorite and comforting person to be around...and just be MYSELF! 30 years in May for us. WOW. Congrats to you and Lanny and Happy Happy Happy Anniversary to you dear Joyce. CELEBRATE IT BIG!!! Life is short. xoxoxox I'm glad ya'll stuck together!!!!
Happy Anniversary to you TWO lovebirds!!!!! A good marriage is made a BETTER marriage by have the ups and downs! We celebrated our 26th this year and I am thankful for each and every day we have together!
