I smell bacon!

Sunday morning. Where did yesterday go?  It went so fast!!!!  Andrew and Lauren had plans so they had to be home by noon. Andrew had to pass out programs for the high school graduation. He said he handed out about 1000 programs in 40 minutes. No doubt.

After dropping them off I picked up Dylan and the three of us (I still had Maddie) went to Walmart. I got pictures printed for my school bulletin board I need to go set up. Got Karla the movie "The Lost Boys".... she looks for it every time she goes in and I found it in the $5.00 bin!  We had fun. Went to Jack's for lunch. Took them home.  Dylan makes me laugh!  We were driving down the road and somehow the subject of bad language came up. Maddie asked if the "f" word with an "in" at the end is a bad word.  And Dylan and I both said "Yes!!!" She said the kids at school said it is not. I said, "Well, the kids at school are not telling the truth. People that talk like that have bad manners and are pigs." Dylan said "Then my school is a barn."  I laughed.  He's got great wit.  Then on the way home at the stop light we were talking about who are worse drivers... I said something about me not being a bad driver and in another car we heard someone laughing really loud!  Perfect timing. Dylan thought it was so funny!  I love that boy!

Came home just to leave again. Papa and I took Maddie's stuff to her house, then we went to visit mom and take her pills to her and the frozen dinners I made up for her.  Then we went to the rez to get gas and had dinner at Taco Time and took a taco and picked up chocolate milk for mama. She had the taco half eaten before I left.  I love my mama.  I noticed she put the picture of my dad next to her chair.  She used to have it in the bedroom.  I commented on how she had it closer to her and she said "He had a great smile." I said "A great laugh too."  She is missing him very much. I wish more would visit her. She feels a bit forgotten lately. Except by Lois and me and Doug.  She really wants to be with my dad.  My gut feeling is it won't be long.  I know that sounds bad to say.... but I see changes in her every week. Lanny and I both notice it.

Dreading the week ahead.  Last week of school.  We'll have more than normal kids this week... and then next week we will lose some as they move on to M&M kids at the schools.  I just have to take each day as it comes and help each other out. We just need more help period.

Teresa's grandson is doing better!!!  Praise God!  Things are in motion for my friend Julie! Praise God!  It is wonderful to have blogging friends who pray for each other, care for each other, and have become such close friends without even meeting! They used to call them pen pals... but this is even better!!! Love my girls!

Changed my background and picture this morning to pictures from this past spring... looking forward to summer! Nine days!!!!  And 18 days until papa retires!  This is going to be an interesting week. Papa only works 3 days at Walmart... so he may take Thursday and Friday off from his other job. Cool... hope he does!  This guy will be really happy if he does!!!! lol!

Our Toby dog taken this morning in the yard!
Here is his rosebush he planted.  It is so pretty!

God is so good to us!  I thought Toby was really going to die! The vet thought he had cancer! He is healed of whatever it was! Praise God! I love my dog!  We have gotten the furnace fixed, a new garage door opener, Papa is almost retired and everything is in motion for it, our kids have some great things going on in their lives... grand kids are healthy and happy....things are going good in our lives.  And it is all because of God! No doubt!!!

Woke up this morning to sunshine! Loving it.  May be going to a softball game later. I was so exhausted last night I didn't want to go anywhere today. But Riley girl is playing!!!  So.... we'll see! Hope you all have a great Sunday.  I smell bacon.... gotta go!
