cheer up!

Today is going to be an exceptionally long day.  I am going to see Dr. Jungkeit about my ear. It has a small hole in the drum and I need it fixed so I can hear better.  Don't know if he will do it today or if this is just an exam.  After working all day today, we have a mandatory meeting up at CCC (our sister center) where a man from Holly Ridge will be talking to us about Sensory items. That will be so interesting for us! All 3 teachers, the cook and I will be going. They'll be serving dinner. Then there will be a meeting on dress codes, USDA, etc.... so that should be good too! And we will be paid for it. But I won't get home until about 9 pm.  Part of the job! Also part of the job is protecting the other kids and making sure they feel safe in our center. Which means having to remove another child permanently. That was very difficult yesterday for me.  My job isn't always easy, but I still love it.  Pray for that family, please.

I don't have a lot to say today.  Made a roast in the crockpot yesterday.... it was sure nice to come home to that "comfort" smell.  I hope you have a good day. Sorry I am not as cheerful as usual. I will get better! :D
