rain.. rain... and more rain!

Rain, rain, rain. Oh, and more rain.
This is what we dealt with yesterday!
All day!!!!

It was mom and dad's anniversary... 64 years. Notice I didn't say "would have been" because to mom they are still married and she will continue to acknowledge the day. I picked up mom and took her to the eye doctor. Great report. Her right eye improved a bit and her left stayed about the same. Next we went to breakfast with Tara. We missed Karla.... she was waiting for a conference call that came after 12. She could have gone after all. It was a very nice time with laughs and good food! Great picture.... her Grandma loves her!!! Then we went to Walmart and got a few things. Mom ordered new glasses that look much better! And we decided to skip the movie because we were sick of the rain and getting in and out of it so I took her home. I called the cable company and tried to fix her spare tv.... couldn't so they are sending out a tech free of charge and crediting her for two weeks. It was a nice afternoon. Libby stopped by to vacuum for her and went down and filled up her car with gas and visited. I called Kevon and he went over and fixed a small leak she had where the wood stove used to be. So she is happy today. She also got a wonderful Valentine from son Rick that touched her heart. She had a great day! And Kevon and Tara are her two favorites now! lol! (inside joke)

Still raining but I have no where to go so I am content. I slept in my chair most of the night after waking up with a cough. Going to attack my sinus' today and see if I can clear them out. I know that is the cause! So anyway.... I am pretty tired today but I do need to get some cleaning done.
Papa works tonight so that will give me a bit more time. Only night he works this week! ;D
