I hear the rain falling.....

Everyone and everything is back to normal. It seemed like we were all on one huge vacation all over the country! It was fun! I woke up just after papa left and already miss him! I sent him a text and he called. When he calls me the ringtone is "I Just Called to say I Love You". That is usually why he calls a couple times a day. This week he only works 2 nights at WalMart. We haven't spent any week nights together forever. I am exaggerating.... it just seems like it. His doctor appt is today. We spent yesterday hacking and coughing. It is the cough that never ends, it just goes on and on my friend. Didn't get to Bible Study last night either. :(
In 2005 Riley's Christmas concert was postponed due to weather... so we went 1-4-06. Here she is praying and peeking. I have always loved this picture. Little ones always peek, don't they?

I want to wish my sister-in-law, Connie, a very happy birthday today! She is Rick's wife and they live in Eastern Washington. Don't see her very often but she is a nice person and hopefully we will get over there to see them this summer. He keeps talking about doing a family gathering but we will see. She hates her picture taken so I will post one taken quite a few years ago of her and my brother! Have a wonderful day and great year Connie!
Also today is my cousin, Holly's birthday! She doesn't live far from me but we don't see each other often at all. Happy birthday, Holly, and many more happy and healthy ones to come! Here is a picture of Holly with her husband, Jim. Older pictures keep people looking younger! lol! And it is Keith Newman's birthday. Met him through my niece-in-law, Marie.... it is her nephew. Nice guy.... doubt he reads my blog so I'll facebook him later.... happy birthday to Keith anyway. I'll post his picture because he's not bad to look at.... the whole family is gorgeous!

Taking Mary to get her blood drawn today and to Walmart. I talked her into going at 11. She is an afternoon person and I like to beat the crowds. We usually do afternoon. ;D

I have someone I love very much that needs your prayers.... her name is Linda and she had a double bypass 2 days ago. Please pray for a quick recovery for her. She means the world to me.

Weather to Expect:

We are starting the first work week of 2010 with wet weather across Western Washington. The steadiest and most widespread rain will be this morning before the showers become more scattered for the afternoon. Temperatures are in the 40s as you get out the door this Monday morning with highs this afternoon around 50 degrees.
Fewer showers remain in the forecast Tuesday with highs holding in the low 50s tomorrow. Wednesday morning brings more showers before we start drying out during the afternoon. Thursday stays dry with partly cloudy skies before rain increases on Friday.
