All Night Long!!!!

I'm sure you all said a sentence and it turned into a song and stuck in your head? I have on several occasions... for example "Good day Sunshine" "Let It Snow" "The Sun will Come Out Tomorrow". Get it? Today it is "All Night Long".... by Lional Richie. Problem is... I wasn't dancing in the streets. I was coughing in the sheets. All night long! I bought some 24 hr Claridan D from the pharmacist thinking if it WAS just allergies I would feel better. I felt worse. Nose ran and coughing started. Around midnight I was nuts. So I took my old friend Nyquil on top of it. My friend stood me up! Didn't even help! So this morning I am sore and achy. And no matter how many sites you look up for cough relief.... they all say the same things that we already know. When will they come up with something new??? Maybe it's up to me to invent something!!! ah ha! My purpose in life! I found it!

I am suppose to go see mom this morning but I don't dare... not the way she is feeling.... not thinking I am contagious but I so don't want to take the chance! She really isn't any better. The doctors think her problems stem from her kidneys which affect blood flow which affects her heart. Her kidneys are getting worse. She is on Coumadin and resting today again. Praying! She gets really depressed when she isn't feeling well.

I put up this stupid background up and have not once spread any sunshine. Maybe i should go black! lol! try goth!

And it is raining this morning so the deck is wet so there goes papa's day off. He is going for a complete physical this morning. I am not sure what I am doing. Lauren invited me to a play today at her school.

Last night I got all packed up and picked up Andrew and Lauren and met Karla and the kids at Walmart to ride to Riley's last game.... and then it was canceled. bummer. Then Karla bailed on us so the kids and I drove to Big Apple and had dinner. Mine was terrible. I've never had a bad meal there but it sucked! Fish and chips... the fish was flat and chewy. ewwww. Then we went to the dollar store and I took them all home. It was such a blessing to spend time with the kids! During dinner when my food was yuck... Dylan offered to trade. What a sweetie. Maddie leans over and says... "You can say you made a mistake coming here now." (Her and Lauren wanted McDonalds) lol!

My heart is hurting for the family and missing boy in Oregon. This whole story has just been devastating to me, as I am sure it is to any mother or grandma. The thought of never seeing your child again after you drop him off at school just sends chills down the spine and brings tears to the eyes. This sweet little seven year old boy was dropped of at school in Portland, Oregon at Skyline Elementary School, by his stepmom but vanished before making it to class. They went to the science fair together and then she watched him walk down the hall and then he was gone. Today the family of Kyron is pleading for more help in the search—I am sure after now 6 days they are getting desperate.

I know what you are thinking—are you sure he was dropped off? Which also crossed my mind—but he was seen by school staff and even proudly displayed his project on frogs at a school science fair that morning which is were the photo of him was taken. He was definitely there- at least briefly. Seems like he had to have been abducted by someone he knew otherwise it seems like there would have been a noisy fighting display. But for a child to vanish without a fight it makes you think he followed someone he knew and trusted—which at a school could have been many people. Keep your prayers going up for Kyle Horman and the family!!!

Well... have I spread enough sunshine? Life will get better. Life is good in many ways! I count my blogger friends and family among my many blessings.

My beautiful friend, Cheryl Perkins is my facebook friend today! I love Cheryl... she is so kind and sweet with a beautiful heart. Like most of my friends... I don't see her as she lives a ways away... but facebook brought us in touch again and I love it! I chose this picture because it shows her doing what she likes to do!My memory photo is of Dylan, Jordy and papa playing video games June 11, 2005! They look so little!!!! ;(

I didn't get Andrew's message today.... but he will send it later. He must not have had time on the bus. So I will post this for now... because I need it!

So I am heading off to praise, seek, worship, trust and thank the Lord for everything! ;D

Weather to Expect:
Scattered showers with temperatures in the low 50s as you get out the door this morning.Showers come to an end this afternoon with some sun breaking out. High temperatures will be topping out in the mid to upper 60s today.
Plenty of sun for your Saturday with the warmest weather we have seen so far this year. Look for high temperatures tomorrow in the mid to upper 70s.
Sunday temperatures down into the low 70s. Only the slight chance of a shower around the sound; most spots will stay dry on Sunday.

Bless your heart! I sure hope you get to feeling better! Sounds like you had a rough night and deserve some good days... we'll pray for that!

I sure hope your Mama gets better too! She is such a sweetheart and I don't want her to get depressed! We'll pray for her too!

Then that poor family of the little boy. I have been watching that on the news and it just breaks my heart! I pray that it was someone he knew who took him, that they will keep him safe and will return him without harm!

Try to enjoy your day my friend! HUGS from Georgia!
