No plans today... papa has to take my van to get a realignment in an hour. He hopes to paint the deck again, too. Nothing but blue sky outside! We need it! Makes everyone happy! Notice the song I posted from Frank? Love his voice. I may finally tackle that toy room and see if I can find my camera!Mom was feeling a bit better yesterday. Papa went to visit her for awhile. Papa had his physical yesterday and it went great! Then I had my phone consult with his doctor and mine and it was really good... and funny! Dr. Brody and Chun are so great! I took Nyquil last night and slept like a rock.
Yesterday was a good day. I met Amanda at the school to see Lauren's play... about bugs and stuff... for her reading class. She played 2 roles: a bee and a bat. She is such a good reader! Her confidence and intelligence really amaze me. She was helping the boy next to her. I thought that was sweet. Then I went to Albertsons to get a few sale items.... then home.
Talked to my niece, Marie (Marine Justin's mom) for almost an hour on the phone! It was sooo great to hear her voice! She's always had such a bond to me and the kids. Love her so much and I am so happy that her life is so good!
I rested a bit and then picked up Andrew and Lauren from school and Sandy too. We got to have them overnight! Well, Andrew went to Goonies for several hours.. his extra smaller youth group. They meet, hang out, pray, sing, play games, eat... etc. Andrew enjoys the smaller setting too.
Speaking of Andrew.... here is yesterdays devotion:
PROVERBS 15
Andrew's thoughts: Remember this: Don't take your eyes of the Lord, for you will be led astray of the path of righteousness.Has anyone else noticed Blogger changed everything? I don't like it... I think it makes changing things harder. I just am not a fan of change. I will probably love it once I get used to it.
I will continue with my facebook friend of the day.... her name is Cheryl Bussing and we've been friends with her and Lester for about 23 years! They give so much of themselves to help others... and seldom are appreciated. We've been through tons of stuff sharing our lives together that long.... they are true, loyal, supportive, and loving friends and I am happy she is my friend of the day.
My memory picture of the day is from June 12, 1987... 23 years ago! Lanny and dad were laughing as they took this picture of Waverly (Lanny's mom), me and my mom up at The 3 Crabs restaurant in Sequim on the Dungeness Spit. We were oblivious to what they were laughing at with the 3 crabs sign behind the 3 of us! haha.
