oh... snow stay away!

I have so many things to be grateful for.... and my friends and family rank right up there! I so appreciate the comments you all leave! The love and friendship you show! You're the best!

I had the years scared off of me last night and it made me mad! Has this ever happened to you? I had just fallen asleep and the phone rang. I ran out of bed worried it was mom! Funny how many thoughts can enter your mind when you are in a 20 foot dash and only half awake. It was a company called "Westfax" and all I heard was that terrible fax noise. After 11 pm! I blocked them from my phone this morning but it sure was frustrating.... especially when you try so hard not to let your husband wake up so he doesn't start coughing! Speaking of which.... his cough is finally getting better!!!! The Delsym 12 cough syrup actually works for him. He is at the counter watching Fox News drinking his coffee right now. I love it when he doesn't go to work!

Took Mary in last night and on the way home she wanted to stop for dinner. We went to Sizzler because she had never been there before and they have a great salad bar. She loved it! Since it was her first time there.... she would get the salad bar free if she ordered an entree. So for $4.99 she ordered a Philadelphia Cheese steak sandwich and we had it boxed to go. She told me to take it home to Lanny. He loved it! He said it was soooo good! Thick pieces of steak, peppers and onions... num for him! And Mary got to eat for free! She loves salads. Tonight we are NOT going out to eat. I can't take it every day. NOT good for my diet!

Speaking of diet.... Tara, look at Tracy's cooking site "Recipe Swapping Momma". She made the coolest Silly String Cake.... do you think the kids would love that????

Speaking of Tara..... 2 more days til the dinner at Tara's! I am very excited! I love my family, love being with them, love turkey dinner... and I don't cook a thing! Does it get any better than that? I will take lots of pictures, of course. ;D I am praying the snow stays away so our family can make it over the pass!!!!!

Weather to Expect:
Sun breaking out for everybody this afternoon. High temperatures will stay on the cool side with upper 40s and low 50s across Western Washington.
Enjoy some sun today because a stormy Friday is on the way. A cold front moves in tomorrow bringing increasing rain, wind, and snow for the mountains Friday morning. A Winter Storm Watch has already been issued for the mountains where a fresh foot of snow is possible. The snow level is starting at 2,000 feet, so the mountain passes will be seeing snow. The snow level will then drop down around 1,000 feet Friday afternoon, so a few flakes mixing in with a localized heavy shower is possible for areas in the Cascade foothills.
High temperatures will hold in the 40s tomorrow.
Saturday will be the drier day this weekend with a few showers and some sun. Cloudy with areas of rain on Sunday before heavy rain and strong winds return on Monday.
Weekend temperatures will hold around the 50 degree mark.
