It was so fun! Lots of love and laughter. I think Jordy had a good time and got lots of money. She is saving for an I-Touch. I think that is what it is called. Can't believe she is 12... well, actually tomorrow. Preteens.... a tough time for parents. Kids get attitudes and parents fight them. That is the hard part. Parenting a preteen. Knowing which battles to choose because everything doesn't have to be one. Letting kids make their own mistakes and decisions on some things. They start pulling away a bit at this age. Went through it 5 times. Never got easier. I am seeing it as a grandma too. They still love me lots.... but they are starting to pull away into their own person now.... wanting to make some choices and figure out who they are. Desire for that gets stronger the older they get and that is good! That is what we want because that is how they evolve into responsible adults! ;DMonday at last. I was almost looking forward to it so I could rest! I came down with this cold and have been so busy I haven't had much time to rest it. The cold really isn't that bad though. I sounded terrible with some laryngitis but I that is going away. I have a little cough but it doesn't keep me awake. So all in all.... I'm doing good compared to others around me! Maybe I'm just tougher! I will miss papa though.... except good news is he has Wednesday night off this week. That is a nice surprise! And next Tuesday is our anniversary and they gave him that night off next week!
Well, our living room tv died. We had to bring the one in from the den until we can save the money to get the flatscreen papa wants. It is a "want" not a "need".

Happy Birthday to Jordy! She is so pretty, Joyce! Looks like you all had a lot of fun. Teenagers, my Autumn will be 14 Wednesday. The years have flown by. They do become their own person, still love us but it is different:( Lucky we still have more non-teenagers:) Hope you feel all better and get 'cha some rest! Love to all!
