Our anniversary dinner.....

Happy 25th Anniversary to Papa and Mam!

For those of you wanting to know.... our anniversary party was fantastic! Fabulous food! We had turkey, ham, garlic potatoes, corn, green salad, fruit salad, rolls, cherry cheesecake, pumpkin pie, apple pie, cranberries, am I forgetting something? That doesn't even include the cheese, crackers, shrimp and dip, deer salami, olive tray etc.... before dinner! It was all so nummy! Here are some pictures from dinner:

Parker made an "M" for mam with his cranberries. He's so sweet and loves his mam!

Tara and Ryan having dinner! And papa and mam taking it all very seriously! It was so dang good!!!!
Then Parker was happy to move on to dessert!!!!
A little playtime .... Jared plays a little too rough for Andrew!
Maybe Jordan is thinking the same thing about Andrew.... Papa is oblivious to his girl being choked! lol
Heather loves her nephew..... and the feeling is mutual until the tongue comes out. gross! But Brad got Heather back..... love this picture! haha!

The grand kids all drew names amongst themselves for Christmas! They sure had fun seeing who got who!!!

Maddie was upset she had to leave so Auntie Heather is distracting her and talking with her.
Jared and his papa...
Tara told me to take this of Papa being the turkey! He was sitting in just the right place. lol

Tara decorated with "25" silver numbers hanging and we had silver plates! It was cool! There was pop and laughs and family and it was so awesome! Took lots of pictures! Some people in the family aren't wanting their picture taken anymore.... but I take who I am allowed to and are grateful. Went downstairs with the grand kids for awhile and watched the talent they have.
Some did gymnastics.... Patrick can do flips and all sorts of stuff. Dylan... not so much. He got hurt every time he attempted a somersault. lol! Parker was really good on the keyboard as was the rest! Lauren played the wedding march. It was fun down there with them! Forgot to take the camera downstairs! But even upstairs they showed their talent... Here is Lauren and Riley doing their girl thing. I remember those days!

Lauren had a sore throat and not feeling that well when it was time to go.... so papa found a cure. All of the sudden... they all had sore throats! lol

Earlier in the day.... Karla let Maddie and Dylan come over to hang out. I still had Andrew and Lauren. So that was so fun! Maddie and Lauren played and played. Maddie got her bangs cut. She is so cute with bangs! Then it was time to take Lauren and Andrew home. Lauren cried so Maddie called Auntie Manda to see if she could come over there. Worked out really well.... Maddie and Lauren got all afternoon together and since Heather and Don were there with the kids.... Patrick went home with me. Him and Dylan get along great! They are a bit alike! So they played with the BB gun all afternoon. Heather and Don stopped by and only had Jared and Josh with them. They left Parker and Jordy with Andrew. All worked out great since those 3 get along so good! lol When Heather left to go back to Tara's... Josh wanted to stay at mam's. So.... when it was all said and done: We got to Tara's with 3 boys, Heather & Don with 1 boy, Joel & Karla alone, Ryan & Amanda with 3 girls and 2 boys! lol! All was happy, I think! I know I was. :D
Thanks all of you for making it such a special day!!!! We love our family!!!

Happy anniversary to Lanny's sister Rhonda and her husband Bruce in Forks!!!!
Happy birthday to Emerson, my nephew.... he is 23 today!
Happy birthday to cousin Lois in South Dakota!
And Happy Birthday to Jenny at church! She is a sweetheart!

Pray for the Bremerton family that lost their 4 year old little girl to Swine Flu.
Pray for Don and Heather's safe trip home!

Papa and I are going to relax and watch the movie Fireproof (after the Seahawk game of course) and have leftover dinner from last night. Great life .... greatly blessed!

What's Next:
We will finish the weekend on a rainy note Sunday. Strong winds will develop late Sunday night into Monday. A High Wind Watch is in effect through Monday night for the Washington coast, where gusts up to 85 mph are possible.
Heavy rain is also in store for Monday and Tuesday. Up to 10 inches of rain could fall in the Olympics and North Cascades.
Lighter rain stays in the forecast through the end of the week.

I couldn't wait to hear about the party! Sounds like loads of fun and I loved all the pictures. Great picture of all the grandchildren. They sure grow up fast and I can't believe how they are all cooperating in the picture. You and Papa are so sweet and I hope you will celebrate 25 more years. My honey and I will have number 25 in 2010!

I will be praying for the Bremerton family, that is so very sad:( Love to all of you!
