Nice quiet weekend behind us. We didn't do much. Lanny is going to the doctor tomorrow. His cough isn't getting better. Could be more than a cold.
Did discover something this weekend. For all you people raising kids.... be warned you are on a "need to know" basis or you will be. Starts in Junior High and progressively gets worse as they enter high school. It continues way past it.... I was informed of this last night by my sweet husband. He told me "You must be on the Need to Know basis and I guess they don't think you need to know." Well, shut my mouth then! lol! I don't get it because I share with my mom everything going on in my life! I either feel she needs to know, she cares, she'll pray, or there is nothing secretive going on in my life that she can't know about. When I am going out of town... I tell her. When i get home safe... I tell her. When I am sick... I tell her. When there is happy or sad news... I tell her. When i need to vent... I call her. I love my mama soooo much! She is my best friend besides Papa. That is what I learned this weekend. I love my family.... but I'm on the Need to Know program. Like I tell the grand kids.... It's not your business. I guess it's not. lol!
I got a starter for Amish Friendship Bread! I've never made it before! I can't wait til it's ready to bake. It is just really difficult for me.... I feel like I need to do more than to mush it everyday. But I will follow the rules and hope for the best. Trying to figure out what to put in it. hmmm. It will be ready to bake next Monday!
This week I am taking Mary to an appointment every afternoon at the hospital. Will be a long week but I enjoy her company! Wonder if we'll have anything left to talk about come Friday though. lol.

My pork roast was sooo good and tender last night. Not bad for under $4.00! I love a good deal. Well, it is pouring rain and I am about done here. Probably said too much! haha!
Weather to Expect:
A cold front is moving in today bringing increasing wind and rain throughout the morning. We will see winds 15-25 mph through the morning. Winds will back off later this afternoon with the rain turning to showers. High temperatures will be in the low 50s.
The wet weather pattern will hold over the next 5 days.
Fewer showers expected on Thursday before rain increases once again Friday evening into the upcoming weekend.
