lotto, busy signals, and thankful parents....

In case you're waiting to hear.... that free lotto ticket I got from Red Apple was a loser. I got one number on one row. When the girl gave me the ticket we started talking about when the lotto first started. I worked at Payless (Rite Aid)... was Dept. Head for the Camera/Sporting Goods department. I had to go to special training in Seattle to work the new machine and they put it in our dept. I told her I remember when the people elected the State Lotto in.... the money was suppose to go to education. Well.... it goes into the general fund. That's another reason we don't trust politicians. Old battle... but what really killed me was how long ago that was! About 25 years ago! Where did time go?

I hope Brad had a great birthday. We tried calling last night but their phone was always busy. I'm sure everyone was calling. They don't like call waiting so they are one of the few people with a busy signal. One day Dylan was trying to call Jo and he said it kept making a strange noise. I tried and said... that noise is a busy signal. Too funny.

Papa's morning to sleep in. Hope he does. We really have no plans this weekend except Kevon is coming over Saturday morning to put in the cat door and fix the corner of my house! I'm excited about that. Going to make him a batch of cookies and sweet & sour chicken wings for doing it! We know our kids are super busy and we really appreciate it when they come over to help us with something! We're very thankful for the kids we have! I know they are there for us if we need them.

Well... I guess that is it for now! Karla is really making me crazy! I can't seem to stump her! I have to find harder riddles.
