Spent the day yesterday just puttering around. Then papa got off and we ran and picked up Maddie and Dylan at school. She was very happy to see me. Went and mailed that video tape (finally!!!) to my cousin Bob, went to Albertson's and got some pop and ice cream for floats. Came home... we looked through Maddie's valentines from school and then Papa made fish and chips and mac & cheese for dinner! The kids loved it! After dinner we watched the movie Madagascar 2! I hadn't seen it... it was really good! Papa even watched the whole thing with us! We had ice cream, floats, popcorn, and candy. It was a great Friday Night Movie Night!
Maddie slept awful. Both are trying to get over their colds... I didn't have any night time cold medicine so I gave her some other stuff. Kept her awake. She crawled in my bed after everyone was in bed and went to sleep next to me. Put her back at 11. She came back at 4.... and didn't go back to sleep. We finally got up at 4:30 because she kept rubbing my face and hands. I just can't seem to fall asleep again with someone rubbing my face. So we got up and she watched Fairly Oddparents. Dylan woke up at 5:30... not feeling well. So Karla is going to have some tired kids today. They've been playing good together so far.

What's Ahead: Mostly dry weather is expected Saturday and most of Sunday with temperatures near or just below average.
