Life goes on.....

Well.... I've got no place to go....let it snow! let it snow! let it snow! Just yesterday morning I was worried.... today I don't care! Funny what a difference a day makes. I really didn't see that one coming. Now I see why their turnover is so high in that office! Meghan said the same thing happened to her stepsister at the same place! Not really sure what they want from people. What I am focusing on is all the love and support and prayers I am getting! You are all amazing! I've gotten emails, texts, phone calls and it has helped more than I can say. When you feel like you've been rejected.... acceptance and love is so important. I will always remember this time. Kevon called yesterday and that guy has such a way with me. He knows exactly what to say and how to say it. Always has! Stopped my tears and made me laugh. Put things into perspective. Everyone needs a Kevon in their lives. Call him if you have a problem or crisis.... he is good at that... Karla agrees. I'll give you all his phone number. lol! just kidding. Wouldn't he kill me???? Anyway, I am trying to stay positive. The only thing I have control over is how I react to this. I've gotten some amazing pep talks from Amanda, Meghan, Lois and mom, too. Of course, Dylan called to say he was sorry and tell me why he thinks it happened. That's what he does... and to come up with a plan. lol! And Karla and Rachel are already on the trail of finding me a job. Good luck with that one. Papa is wonderful. He loves me no matter what. He knows this happened for a reason and isn't stressed at all. The good news is.... I don't blame myself for this. I think I was doing good.... especially the past week or so. Really caught on!!!! And last week actually enjoyed work! That's probably why I was so blindsided. But it is what it is and you can't change things you can't control... which is most things. But there is someone who can and that is who I am leaning on and trusting with my life. So blessed that the maker of all things beautiful is in charge of my life instead of me!

Not much more going on in my life. Updated my resume yesterday... and sent a few resume's out. I feel like you all have gone thru this with me for over a year of job interviews, etc.... now we have to start over. Sorry. Wasn't much in the mood to do anything after I got home. Was just going to veg out and have my pity party. But the phone calls wouldn't let that happen. I wasn't going to answer the phone and just wallow.... but I can't let a phone ring. It's not in my nature. I think I'll clean house today. Maybe take a nap. Told Meghan to hurry up and have a baby.... I get to take care of him while she works part time. That's the plan anyway. To top off my week...Aunt Flo came to visit. Her timing is amazing. lol! Wonder when she's going to quit coming to see me? Soon I hope.

I absolutely love facebook! I am in touch with so many old friends from high school. One is Maria Yeager! I love her and we were great buds! We chatted for a long time last night and exchanged email addresses. Hoping to talk to her soon! And I am hoping to find an old friend... Sue Bichsel. Facebook is growing so fast! I have over 130 friends on it.... family and classmates and church friends. It is fun!

Hope you all have a great day. We just have a dusting of snow so far. See what today brings. Ya never know. May God bless you with love, laughter and friendship!

What's Ahead:
Seattle may only see a trace to an inch of snow, areas west along Hood Canal are likely to have 4 to 8 inches. The coast, Kitsap, Mason and Lewis Counties are in for 2 to 4 inches. Highs hit the upper 30s, with any snow over Seattle turning to rain this afternoon. Tonight there's a chance of showers, possibly mixed in the hilltop areas through tomorrow morning.
Then Wednesday through Saturday we see much drier weather with only a minimal chance of showers, a mix of sun and clouds, and highs in the 40s.
Sunday look for rain showers returning.
