HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO AMANDA!!!!! Our girl turns 30 today.....she can finally join the 30's group. She is 6 months behind Kevon. I love Amanda and pray she has so many wonderful, happy & healthy years to come!!!! Also it is my nephew, Jack's birthday! I wish him a happy birthday and a lifetime of happiness, too! Yesterday was great!!!! Started with taking Lauren to the pool. I got in the water with her and at first she clung to me. Her dad had shown her on a tape measure that 3 feet came to her chest....so I worked with that. She finally touched her toes on the bottom and that's all it took. She let go of me and went on the mat and floated with the other girls while laughing with the teacher, hung on to the side, swam with teacher and jumped off the side of the pool! I was so happy I got tears in my eyes! She loved it!!!
And I know Maddie was happy...kept telling her she was proud of her. After swimming Lauren kept asking if her mom would be proud of her. Great day.....plus I don't have to go in the water today! Andrew had a good day at camp but I missed it all. I'll watch him today...it is his last day. After swim Dylan and Maddie came to my house and we showered and had lunch and watched some tv and the girls played in the sprinkler. Also we went and got Andrew and the kids played there for awhile and got to see their new house and Sandy. Maddie absolutely loves it. We had dinner and I took them to the parents softball game. They kicked some butt the first game.....got their butt kicked the second. But I am sure they had fun regardless. Rachel took quite a hit to the shin with a ball....looked bad. Amanda had a fall, too....I've never seen Ryan run so fast as he did out to her to see if she was ok. Really sweet. Even Riley took a fall! I'm hoping her knee is ok!!!! Tara and Amanda both caught fly balls....which was fun for their first game! And everyone got hits and on base! All in all, everyone had a good time.
