HAPPY BIRTHDAY KARLA!!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BABY GIRL!!!! Today is Karla's birthday! I remember when she was a baby...I was so afraid! We didn't have a phone and had to go down several blocks to the phone booth and call mom (long distance) in Kingston when I had questions. I was so alone! I was the first among friends to have a baby and I didn't know my neighbors. We did the best we could and she turned out wonderful! I'll give God the credit there. She is such a Karla.....and we all love her so much! Especially her mom! I pray she has a wonderful and blessed day with so many more to come!!!! I put a slide show of some of my favorite pictures of my girl!

I am cleaning today. I am so far behind.....I have to catch up. Andrew and Lauren have been wonderful about helping! Lauren loves to wash my counters and do dishes. Took them to the free movie "Shrek 3" yesterday and sat with Karla, Maddie and Dylan. It is a cute movie. I loved watching Dylan laugh. Came back here and the kids played. Lauren made Papa dinner.....meatloaf and scalloped potatoes. It was really, really good!!! I helped her a bit....but she did good.

Well, I hope you all have a wonderful day today! Especially Karla! God bless you!

Today: Becoming mostly sunny after fewer morning clouds. Highs in the mid 70s to lower 80s.

Thursday and Friday: Mostly cloudy in the morning, becoming partly sunny in the afternoon. A chance of showers, mostly over the mountains. Highs in the mid 70s.

Saturday: Partly sunny, mid 70s.

Sunday Through Tuesday: Partly cloudy. Highs continue in the mid 70s.

Weather Summary: A repeat today of the beautiful weather we enjoyed
yesterday... only a tad bit warmer, and a faster clearing of the morning clouds. A slight change arrives tomorrow and Friday as a low off the coast gets closer, and spins a few weak weather systems our way. This adds the chance of a few light showers, mostly in the mountains, but there could be an occasional sprinkle over the lowlands, not a big deal though. Back to partly sunny skies the rest of the holiday weekend and into early next week.
