"Grandparents have been given powerful influence on their grandchildren if they will take the time to invest in their lives. There is so much to be accomplished while they are young." - JAMES DOBSONI love my grandchildren. And I firmly believe God placed us in their lives for a purpose. I wish I had grandparents growing up. Until I was 11 I had one grandpa....the rest were gone. And he lived in South Dakota and Iowa. I think I missed out on a lot!
Yesterday was a great day! The girls were fun!!! We got all the presents wrapped...and they helped! That was a huge help! We took the dogs for a walk.
| One thing I noticed.... we are the only place the moles hangout. No other yards have mole hills? What is up with that???? |
We also worked on Christmas Cards! They wrote their own list and wrote out their cards. They were so cute!!!!
The girls and I went to QFC and got some groceries. They wore these hats in the store. They love getting "cute" comments.
We played a game last night. It was a new game I bought. I won 2 times, Maddie won once, and poor papa and Lauren didn't. Lauren was getting mad because she kept hitting the "Lose your turn" square.
The girls had pomegranate and kiwi for snack. Maddie's first kiwi. She liked it....but she likes almost all fruit!
Papa wasn't feeling well the last couple days. I don't know if it is because he had a flu shot or his cough kicked into full board. I want him to go to the doctor... but he is a man. His cough is bad. I had him take it easy Sunday. He didn't argue.
The girls don't have school today. Lauren is still asleep. Maddie is watching Spongebob with papa. I was up early doing my lessons for this week. Now I have to get ready for work! I hope you all have a wonderful day!!!!

Isn't James Dobson just full of wisdom? :-) Grandparents are such a VALUABLE asset and strong thread running through grandkids' lives. The ones who are blessed enough to live close will flourish from the love and attention of Grandparents. My kids sure did. I hope my future grandbabies will be close!!! I love what you wrote....."but he is a man"...lol...nothing else needs to be said! ;-) :-) Hugs to you. xo

Sweet pictures of those kidlings! I just love them to pieces! I pray that Papa gets to feeling better! No time for illness!
Have a blessed day my friend, BIG HUGS!
