Love Fridays....but this one is busy!

I really love Fridays. Friday's rock. It is Show and Share at school and generally a lower count.  But today we have a Christmas program over at the Nursing Home next door in the chapel for the "grandma's and grandpa's" over there.  So right after snack the kids will be heading over there. Yesterday our kids made Jingle Bell bracelets. They turned out good! Just used pipe cleaners and bells. They were suppose to turn out like this but the bells are bigger:

We also had to make 10 Christmas cards for next door residents.  I had cut out Green stockings the night before and we made them from there.  I notice something....kids just want to play. That is all. Play and eat and go outside and play some more.  I'm down with that but for some reason the powers that be want me to do crafts I hate. lol!

Speaking of kids.... our little Riley broke the growth plate in her little finger playing basketball at school. She will be wearing it wrapped for a couple weeks and then they will check it. Poor baby. Praying for her!  She'll be singing in a school concert next week! I can't wait! Seems to be the only one this year!

Got some great news last night. Ryan (son) called and he is coming home today. He has been in San Diego working for months...but he is finally coming home to stay. He came home briefly at Thanksgiving, but I have missed him.  And I KNOW the kids and Amanda have too.

Finally going to get my physical today. I have postponed that trip since April.... about 8 times I have changed my appointment.  Things have always came up....mostly mom or work. But I am covered at work this afternoon and am going!!!! I love my doctor and I've missed her. We have a lot to catch up on! lol!

I am going to help Andrew with his homework this morning so I am leaving EARLY!!!! I got up at 3:30 with a freaky dream.... and will be leaving soon. I am sooooo tired. I don't do well on 5 hours sleep.

My brother, David, turned himself in. He is sitting in Kitsap jail now charged with Failure to Appear and Contempt of Court. His next court appearance is December 22nd. I am glad he is safe. I called his girl friend last night but she never called back. I heard from her uncle that she took David in.

Well...best get my day going. Going to be a long one.  I wish Lanny would go to the doctor. cough, cough, cough.  He won't even go get checked. He frustrates me. But I adore him too. He is so good to me.  He gets up before me in the morning, sets my coffee by my computer, makes my lunch and breakfast and walks me out the door with a coffee in my hand. How awesome is he?
