What a week.... the weekend will be awesome!!!

Good morning!!! It is Saturday and today is our CHRISTMAS with the family!!! I am excited! And I don't have to be to work until Tuesday!  woohoo!

What a week.  I took Andrew to school for his ASB Hot Cocoa sale at 7:30 the other morning. When leaving I didn't see the flashing lights in front of the Middle School because when I usually drop him off at 7 they are not flashing. Of COURSE I got pulled over and ticketed for going 30 in a 20.  Double fine for school zone. I hate driving anymore. I knew my day would suck after that. But Andrew looked cute in his ugly sweater he was suppose to wear.

Speaking of....Veronica did snowmen with the kids! They loved it.

This little girl is a hoot!  She constantly has me laughing. She is from Viet Nam and has the funniest sense of humor and it is fun teaching her how to say words correctly. Andrew carried her all the way back to the school after the concert. Don't know how that happened. She loved it. I think he did too. :D

What a Christmas week this has been at school!  The kids have been so wired up!!! Monsters Inc. We have been practicing our songs and then we had our program on Thursday afternoon. It turned out great! Our kids were so good and the twins, Robbie and Jacob, went up....they didn't when it was with the other school or during rehearsal that morning.  So that really pleased me.  A teacher is doing her job if she can get everyone to participate without threats. lol!  I was so proud of their behavior.

Papa brought Andrew and Lauren to see it with him.  One kid, Kye, adores Andrew!!!  His face lit up when he saw him. His teacher asked Andrew to go over and ask Kye to be good and do a good job. And he was so good! 

Yesterday was a small turnout at school. We had 10 kids in the afternoon total! Veronica had the day off and so Rachel came in and helped. Mellow time.  Marcey watched the kids while I ran to Blue Sky and got some scrap paper.  Rachel put the kids down for a nap while Teresa and I went next door for an employee luncheon.... prime rib, roasted potatoes...which were good... but the worst green beans I have ever had. lol! I didn't have cheesecake....trying to lose weight. Tough during this time of year....but already took off 5.  Just not making a big deal out of it.  Just trying to be a bit careful.  I got a nice Christmas card from Joanna and Chad.... Joanna wrote that I have added so much to the program.... and Chad (CEO) wrote "Thanks for being such a positive part of the kids team. The CLC really started to improve with your presence this past year."  That feels good to get positive comments. Everyone needs it.

Well....I have so much cleaning to do to get ready for this afternoon.  Maddie just woke up and it is after 8:00! Lauren is still sleeping!  Have a wonderful day today!!!! I know we will!
