almost over :(

Our family Christmas is done.  It was different this year.  Kind of odd.  Strange vibrations... if you know what I mean. No one seemed happy....at least the adults.... except maybe Joel.  Everyone else seemed to have some kind of sadness, illness, tiredness, or something going on with them. I don't know what is going on....no one is talking to me about it....but a mom knows. We didn't play any games. That made me sad.  The dinner was really good.  The kids loved their gifts and had fun opening them.  The adults opened their gifts....I stole from Karla some really nice lotion and foot cream etc... Everyone left shortly after that without any desserts.  :(   It was different. Ryan wasn't here...he was at work.  That made it different, too.
The slumber party went pretty good though. I have to give the older ones credit as I look back at the pictures....they did go caroling (Parker & Dylan stayed with Papa and Toby on the street while I went to the porches with the kids.), played games and were pretty good sports. If they come back next year I will think of separate things for them to do.  We didn't go far caroling ....it was cold and Joshua was sick. He lost his voice and had a fever. I gave him Tylenol... and after Patrick accidentally kicked him in the eye.... Joshua was the first one to bed.  Papa had promised the two youngest sleeping bags when they came again and they were eager to sleep in them so they were the first ones out.

Wonderful gift from Heather!!! Thank you Heath!

Where's Dylan?

Singing Happy Birthday to Jesus!

Making our Christmas trees!

caroling at a house but they aren't home... we made little jingle bells to carol with too.

Papa making them laugh

playing "Morning Mr. Judge"

How low can you go?

We had a good time at the sleep over. Jared, Riley and Maddie are up and it is 7:10.... Dylan just got up and is getting ready for work.  Let the day begin.....

Loved it loved it...every single picture...just scrolled down really slowly taking it all in...Christmas really really is fun with kids...Adults love to watch the kids...yes. They make it ALL worth while. And I'm gonna go back and be a kid again, and let you be my grandma....what fun they have with you. (always)...You are da best! Hugs to you Joyce. Merry Christmas...We adults have so much on us and Christmas just doesn't magically make all our burdens or challenges go away, unfortunately, so sometimes we really do have to let the kids ring our bells for us. But that's okay. LIfe is a journey. :-) Have a great day! xoxo

Looks like everyone had loads of fun! There are troubles and trials all over the place:( I would rather they just tell us what is going on! That way we don't worry about it or play guessing games as to what it is! Anyway, hope it was just nothing! Have a blessed day my friend, Love you!
