one step forward... two steps back... one step...

It seems our life is one step forward.. two back... one forward... two back... etcccccc!!!! Making me crazy!  We just put out $250 for the van... finally got it back today. They estimated $1244. The actual retail price was $2168.60.  wow.  This is why we pay insurance. Plus it is the law.  Glad we only have to pay deductible.  I need to come up with $124 for that stupid speeding ticket I got by next pay day. Then papa was eating a leftover taco today and broke his bottom denture. No one is open. Plus when they DO open... they'll want our money to fix it!!!  Never stops! lol!  And we are trying to deal with all the retirement business and getting our questions answered so we can understand what is happening. My brain hurts.  Plus I am sad... Heather and the boys left for home today. :(   I will miss them. It was so awesome to have them here!  I love Heath!  I feel close to her.... she loves me.  And the boys are growing so fast! They are amazing.  A handful... but that's what boys are!  They are good kids and I love them so much.... I cried when they left the driveway.

But God is still on His throne.... Jesus is still and always my Lord and Savior.... and the Holy Spirit is still working in me and through me!  My life is wonderful!!!! Praise God! There is always Sunshine behind the clouds! Right??? Sometimes you just need to look past the clouds! There the Son Shines!

We had a great time with Heather here. Papa took off yesterday and today!

Yesterday morning we went to Poulsbo to the Sluys Bakery!

See the big Viking Donuts and Gingerbread man donuts? They are so big and nummy!

A little free advertisement... tho they don't need it! Sluys Bakery! The home of the famous Poulsbo Bread and Viking Donuts!!!!

Then we went to Grandma's (my mom's) to eat them. We even took her a maple bar. She liked that!  We had a nice visit and the kids were good! They watched the preschoolers play.

Grandma was so happy to see them!!!!!  It was a sweet time!  Aunt Libby and Aunt Lois showed up before we left so they all got to see each other too!

After we left we kicked Heather out of the van at Karla's house.  They went and had a great lunch at Stella's.  Heather loved it!  We had a good time too!

We were going to go to see "Grandpa Don" (Lois' husband and the grandkids adopted him as their special extra grandpa!! They love him!!!!)  but he wasn't home.  So we stopped at Albertson's and Papa bought a few things and we came home for lunch of pizza and chicken and potato salad. So tasty.  Then guess where we took the grandsons????

We get a phone call at the beach... Heather, Karla and Grandpa Don were up there waiting for us! So we hurried home. KJ left and Jared and Joshua just took over Grandpa Don for the next hour or so!!!  They totally had their way with him!

We were so happy that Ryan, Amanda, Andrew and Lauren came for taco's and visiting in the evening!!!!

They all left for Amanda's and she cut Patrick and Jared's hair and the kids got to see Auntie Meghan!

This morning was a wake up call by these guys!

This is such a late post! Spent time with Heather and the boys before they left this morning and we went to get my van!  I am happy with it!  Well... I have plans in less than an hour... so I am on the run again!!!  God bless you!!!!
