Another weekend is over. I wish it was weekend all the time. Or switched around so weekends were work days and work days were weekends. Does that make sense? I love having my husband around. Read this in a few years after he retires and see if my tune changes... but I don't think it will. He is like a warm security blanket to me. When he's not with me... I feel empty. It wasn't always that way. I had to learn to appreciate him. Almost losing him really did it a couple years ago. I remember our Pastor saying.... it is too bad we have to learn from experience rather than obedience. Too true.Yesterday was a quiet day. Watched the Superbowl and commercials. Here is my opinion... move down if you don't want it. When Latifa sang... some players had their hands over their hearts. I think they were confused over America and our anthem. lol! I don't know why they had her sing right there.... but Carrie sounded better.... although she didn't sound that great this time. Maybe she was just emotional. I would have been. The game was great! One of the best I can remember.... and my team won. Well, it's not my team... I had nothing vested in it.... but they had never been there before so I picked em. Plus which face looks cooler.... seriously!

I didn't think we would win during the first quarter.... but I think this onside kick is what really turned the game around. I wonder what that pile of men were saying in there? Lot's of drama and action... and the officiating seemed good (unlike Superbowl 30 or XL). The officials owned that game. Anyway... that was then and this is now. Of course, the commercials were great, as usual. My favorite part was the halftime show with The Who. I thought they started out rough but it was a great mini concert!!!
Loved hearing everyone singing.
That's all I got. Had to watch the end by myself... papa watched it at Jacobs for our Bible Study. He had a nice time. That's really all I got for you today. Oh.... birthdays! Today is Rick Rayment's bday! I've known him since he was born.. our parents were best friends and we lived in Kirkland as kids and after we moved to Kingston their family did! I love this guy!!!! He is in the back... pictured with his family.... brother Dennis and sister Berta! Her birthday is Thursday! This guy always makes me laugh... his laugh is contagious! Happy birthday Ricky Roy!
Hope you all have a great day! God's blessings and protection on you all! xoxoWeather to Expect:
It looks to stay dry around Puget Sound with partly sunny skies. High temperatures will be in the mid to low 50s.
Another dry day is on the way tomorrow with partly sunny skies and low 50s on Tuesday.
Wednesday will be our transition day with rain increasing during the afternoon and evening.
Thursday looks to be the stormiest day we have seen in a few weeks with rain and wind in the forecast.
Rain at times will continue on Friday and into the upcoming weekend.

I enjoyed the super bowl. I was pulling for Peyton Manning but it was a good game. I hate it when they are really one-sided. So, I am happy that the Saints got their first win. Hope you have a fun week. Sounds like you may be feeling a little better? Hugs to you.
Glad you enjoyed!!! Go Saints ~ Who Dat!!!!!
