pictures and blah... blah.... blah....

Not much to write about... so here are some pictures. Here is my son, Kevon, rehearsing with his band. Yep.... stole that picture. Never been to rehearsals . Heard his songs but haven't heard him live since he sang at the graduation ceremony for Spectrum School (NKHS).


Every time I come across this picture I ask myself why are my grand babies laying on a cows butt? Looks like the other cow in the background is wondering the same thing. Some of those butts at the fair get downright skanky! ewwww..... Heather?


This picture is so cool. It looks like horses but it is actually zebras and the "horses" are their shadows. Pretty cool, huh???? I love it. I would love a framed picture of it.

Going to get some groceries this morning. Suppose to go have breakfast with Candice but Djamal got home last night! So we'll try again in two more weeks. I am suppose to get paid today. That is exciting!

What is more exciting is Dylan is feeling better..... off and on... but he sounds great. Stopping by there this morning to check on him. God answers prayers. Some call it coincidence.... I'll argue that. This picture was taken days after he was on a ventilator and we thought we lost him! The Lord answered our prayers and gave him to us for another 4 years! Thank you Lord! He looks a bit bruised and worn... but my parents sure are happy!
Thought alot more about that swine flu. I've been wondering some things. Why is this one such a big deal? Seems to be like any flu.... highly contagious, feel like crap, some die, some get a mild case.... etc.... I am praying no one else in the family gets it. I wonder if you get it.... if you can ever get it again or if you're immune. I wonder how quickly a person gets it after being exposed? I wonder why it hits some and not others? And I wonder if this is how it started????
..... or if it was just as simple as revenge?If anyone has the answer's ..... let me know!

Today will be the calm between the storms.
A few passing showers around the sound today. Some sun will be breaking out at times with high temperatures running in the mid to low 60s.
The next storm moving in is packing a lot of moisture and will bring heavy rain at times. Rain will be on the increase Friday as the cold front from this storm moves in.
That front stalls over our area on Saturday, so the rain will stay with through the day and will be heavy at times.
The storm moves out for Sunday providing us with a drier end to the weekend with temperatures holding around the 60 degree mark.
Looking forward to next week, more showers look to make a return on Monday.
