Easter weekend was awesome!

Happy Easter!!!! He is Risen!  Easter Is a wonderful day!!!!  I love it.  At the Silverdale Baptist church 50 people were saved this morning! Praise God!  We started out going to Gateway Church (used to be Christ Memorial).  Our friend and old neighbor, Tom Duchemin, is the pastor there. Well, there was a small fire downstairs and they had to evacuate before the service started.  So we went over to the New Life church on the other side of town. It was ok. People seemed nice enough. Music was a bit loud and every song and hymn had a rock twist.  I am a bit old fashioned and like hymns slow and sweet. The song I didn't get to hear today and I missed...the one I hear every Easter is In Christ Alone. I love it!

Well, now I got to hear it. There are so many songs that move me. Especially at Easter. But sadly not today. After church we came home and enjoyed a quiet afternoon and had steaks for dinner.
We actually had an Easter brunch and egg hunt yesterday. It was awesome to have the family over.  I love them so much. Heather and her family didn't make it but next year she said she will be here. We had great food....I made this

plus two egg dishes that turned out terrible. Well, one wasn't so bad but the bacon one was awful. Never again. But the dish in the picture turned out good. And the girls brought dessert, a fruit pizza, biscuits and gravy, sausage links, fried potatoes, and a salad.  Everything was so good. The weather both days was sunny and beautiful!  Andrew, Jordy and Dylan hid Easter eggs and then their little sisters found them.  Here are some pictures of our day:
