Weird weather, weird phones, weird changes

Good Saturday morning!  If you live in this area you know how weird the weather has been!  We have had freezing cold, snow, hail, rain, sun, wind, you name it. Even had a tornado take off the roof of a barn!  Plus had an earthquake yesterday up by the Dosewalips River (Elkhorn campground where we used to camp and where mom and dad are resting comfortably!) 

I guess we haven't had any hurricanes so we are lucky there!  Just been really strange.  Is this the sign of what our Spring will be like in the great Pacific Northwest or are we just getting it all out of our system now so it can be beautiful.  The plants and trees must be weirding out! haha

Yesterday wasn't a good day. It wasn't an awful day but wasn't great. I feel like I have had a full time job with AT&T lately! Yesterday I totally put in a full day with them trying to fix my cell phone. I have my old one....a Nokia E63 which I like because I know how to use it and all my ring tones, pictures, and folders are on it!

Well, they don't even have that phone in their system anymore or the instructions. I had bought a new phone the end of December because mine was not working well.  It is this phone:

It is a pretty phone. Love the color and I like the keyboard....but there is too much going back and forth opening the keyboard etc.... and I hate touch pad anything. I don't use my touch pad on my laptop...I have a wireless mouse.  I don't like them. And I didn't know this was so touchy. Plus it has the same problems as my old phone AND the charge didn't even hold the day.  I got it for a penny.  But now I cannot get a new phone for cheap from AT&T because I have to wait 9 months. And can't send this back because it has been past 60 days. So the tech put in a order in to see what else they can do... and to see if it is the tower here.  I am thinking it is. Papa has the same problem but not as often with his phone.  And yes, we have bars. After yesterday I wish I did bars!!!! lol!  If there is no fixing it....we may have to move on to Verizon.  A shame since we've had AT&T for over 10 years. And I have over 6,000 rollover minutes!!!! haha!

I think Papa needs a new pair of shoes..... I mean slippers. He is so thrifty he even has sewn these up.  Maybe payday.  Maybe we will both get slippers!

Well, sad news is Andrew and Jael went from "being in a relationship" to "being single".  Since she is going off to school and then to India they don't want her to be distracted in a relationship.  So I just see this as a hold.  If it be God's will, they will reconnect.

We all love Jael and always will have a place in our hearts for her.  I am praying as she goes off to school that the Lord blesses her and blesses everyone she reaches out to for Christ.  I will miss her while she is gone. :(

Well, I might just take a nap this morning. Papa has been snoozing in his chair for over an hour, the cat is on his spot (for now) on the couch sleeping, Toby is on our bed (his bed during the day) and it sure is quiet here. No grandkids this weekend. :(
