Happy Birthday Doug!

I am not really Irish at all. Not even in my baby toe.  But isn't everyone a bit of Irish during St. Patrick's Day?  I am actually Norwegian.

Today is my brother Doug's 64th birthday!  Happy birthday Dougie!!!!  I remember when we were kids.  I used to step up on the drawer and watch him make me a brown sugar sandwich or a syrup sandwich. He took good care of me. haha! He did defend me against my older sister! She was mean and bossy. But he was bossier with her. He shoved her into a wall once and broke the sheet rock. Not a pretty picture. lol!  I truly do love him.  He always was a good brother. I miss him too. He hasn't lived by us for so long. He went into the military and was in Germany, Viet Nam, Texas, Georgia, and Virginia....where he lives now. But he does come to visit as often as he can. He makes me laugh all the time. I called him today and we laughed. I think just to be laughing.  Just don't want to call him and wake him up or beat him at any games.....he doesn't laugh so much. haha! Happy birthday big bro!!!!

I just had a terrible sugar low. I hate that!!! It feels really icky and shaky. I just had dinner and I am hoping to feel better soon. I am trying so hard to cut way back on carbs to help me keep my blood sugar down and to lose weight. But it seems when I do this happens.  I struggle with it.  I just need to come up with a plan that will work for me.

Well, Lauren fell again on her knee last night. I guess her crutches slipped out from under her. Keep praying for her knee. Poor little thing.

I hope you all got to watch the Bible on the History channel. It was really good! Well, better get to gettin' .... like my dad used to say! God bless!!!!
