Happy Spring!

Today is the first day of Spring!  Love it!  Not that you could tell around here. Well, I guess you could. It was windy and rainy.  That is usually how the beginning of spring looks around here. I couldn't believe how hard it rained! But then again there was times of sunshine too!  Weird day.

I planned on lazing around all day but I had to get dressed and go to Kingston anyway. I nagged Papa to make sure he got all the paperwork signed to send back to our mortgage company a couple weeks ago....then found out today there was one I forgot to sign! She emailed it to me and I had to print it, sign it, and fax it. And eat crow. haha!  That's always fun.

I also got my desk cleaned off! That made me feel good!  Got some cleaning done. It is hard to be too lazy but I am pretty caught up on house work. With Papa's help. He always does laundry and dishes.  That is half the battle. Oh, and the vacuuming. I am one lucky woman. Reality is he thinks he is better than me. He cooks most of the meals now too. He is a better cook at most things. There are some things I still cook but he even makes a  better omelet than me now! And he really likes to cook....which I don't. Meatloaf for dinner. It was really good.

The cat went outside for a little while. We let him go out back with the door open. He only goes under or on the deck and around the yard a little bit. Papa is so protective he keeps a close eye on him though. Even Toby went out to check on him.

The rain started again. It is pouring on the roofs on our decks. One is metal and one is poly-carbonate or fiberglass roofing (I think) and they are both noisy.  Started hailing. No wonder it is so loud. Papa likes to go out on the deck when it does it.

Decided a new plan to shop healthier. Instead of trying to by for the month we are going to shop every Wednesday  That way we can get the flyers that start on Wednesdays for sales and buy fresh fruits and veggies...that don't last for a month. lol! We will still go to Costco at the beginning of the month for meat and a few things....but this will be interesting. I hope it works out well.
I am excited that my first week I lost 3 pounds and the past week I lost 7 more. So now I have lost 10 pounds. I am so happy. But not stopping with it. I have to get down about 125 more pounds and then we'll see how much more.  I can do this. I AM doing this.

Survivor is on. Papa and I watch it every week.  Faithfully have some shows that we watch together.

We've had our trailer for 10 years yesterday. It still is a wonderful blessing for us.  We've had some wonderful times with it. Great family times! It has a queen bd and bedroom, bathroom, fold out sofa, fold out table. It is really nice. Not that I am bragging....just blessed.
