Happy Birthday, Kristin!

The first half of the day was good. Met Karla at Walmart and I kept Maddie. Got a few things and came home so she could play, watch Max & Ruby and eat...her favorite things to do while she is here! Then the news came about Grandma Wave. I was shocked. I thought for sure she was going to be fine. It seems like I always get that nasty job of phoning!!! When my dad died I am the one that had to call all my brothers and sisters, aunt's and uncles etc..... Yesterday I had to tell Aunt Yvonne (her sister). That was very difficult. And the kids (except Amanda called Ryan, thank you Amanda). Susan had several phone calls to make to...one to Aunt Eileen, the other sister, which I would have hated to make. Anyway...notice Lanny's comment at the last blog about her. Please don't stop praying for her. This all seems so unfair. The doctor called Rita and told her she will have to take care of Waverly and that neither will be able to take care of Michael. So he will have to go live with Jack. That will be so hard on everyone. Life as Ma knew it will never be the same...all she has ever known is taking care of Michael. Not fair. I am so heartbroken over the whole thing and feel so useless. Ma and I are very close and I want to be there for her but can't!!! And Lanny....I worry about him. I can see him stuffing it all inside so he doesn't have to feel. That's what he does with things he doesn't want to deal with. This family has had some hard knocks this year.

Well...today Lanny & I both go to the doctor and get checked out. Then I go to Berta's so she can do my hair. Good thing she charges me next to nothing or I could never get my haircut and colored!!! Sent out another resume yesterday. That's about it. It is our niece's birthday....Happy Birthday Kristen!!! We love that girl..she is really a sweet girl! May God bless over you now and for years to come! It's the 2nd so we also are praying for Lauren, Karla, sister Rhonda, niece Hilary, cousin Amy, and great niece Taylor. By the way...I am serving up Thanksgiving dinner...let me know if you are coming this year! Hope you all have a wonderful day today! And a great weekend.
