started out good.... ended good!

Good Morning! It's Monday and the fog is burning off here. When you live between mountains and water you sometimes get the fog early. They call it the "marine layer" around here. But it is suppose to reach 83 today.  Going to be a beautiful week!  We had a warm day yesterday!!! We really weren't thinking ahead so the house got pretty warm at bedtime.

Yesterday was a good day.  Kevon came by with a couple of crabs for us!  He has been crabbing all weekend!  Kitkat was interested in the smell but didn't want any.  He NEVER eats anything but cat food. Really weird.

Here are some photos from Amanda's facebook.

Kevon has had a busy weekend!  Lauren even got to go and she loved it.

We're taking some kids to Bainbridge pool today so I will post some pictures. It is an awesome pool!!! Our favorite! It has a lazy river which pushes you around through it.  It has a big tunnel slide you can go down. I have done it once several years ago. It was dark and I got twisted up in it coming out the bottom looking like a fool. Kevon was at the bottom laughing at me. haha. Never again. Then we will go get an ice cream cone when we are done. Planning on doing it every Monday this summer if possible. I am still hoping to go camping, too.

The boys won't be going.  Too grown up now. :(   Andrew is working for Uncle Kevon on the base now so his weekdays are a bit wrapped up.

Old swimming memories. Time to build new ones.  Haven't decided if I am going in the pool today. I will wear my suit under my dress and decide there. Depends on the crowd and I want to take pics too.

The new Safeway opened in Poulsbo. That is the big news around town. lol.

Sitting here on the back porch at 7:47. It is so peaceful. The cat is out here for a little bit. He loves it outside. We are very protective of him.  He can climb the gate so we watch him when he goes there. He likes to hunt and investigate and eat grass. Scruffy likes it when we are out here too. He brings his toy bone out here and plays. A most peaceful time. I love it.

Well, I have thought about doing a video cam instead of writing but I don't know if I could do it. Would be kind of weird.  I have backed off from facebook a bit. I will post a faith builder photo and maybe a joke and that is about it now. My life is going back to blogger. I was posting too much of my life on facebook.  This is better. Much better.  I changed things up with some pictures too.  I have been working on our Class of 1974 page too. It is a lot of work but it is turning out pretty nice. Check it out if you want.  http://nkclassof74.blogspot.com/   I love doing websites.

Haha...I am watching this bird. He is SO mad at the cat for trying to catch him. He went up in the tree and would not stop yelling at the cat! (you know, the way birds chirp non stop).

Oh my gosh...this is bad. The cat climbed the gate.  IF we ever see him again he will never go out again. I am crying, papa is blaming me, I suggest to open the front door so the cat will come back in and Scruffy takes off across the street and up the road! Papa got the leash and went and chased him down. The he had an appointment in Poulsbo and left. I still haven't gotten the cat. I don't know where it is now....so I am crying. I just want to yell swear words but I know that won't help. So I will pray he comes home soon.  He is so unworldly.  I wish Lauren was here. She is always able to get him.

The brat cat came back.  He was gone quite a while. Some one shot off a fire cracker (a big boom... not legal). I thought "Now we will never see him".  About 5 minutes later he was on the porch. Wouldn't come to me until finally I stood still inside and he came in. I shut that door and he will never see sunlight again except through a window. Thank you, God!!!!
