Did we win the war?

Sometimes it takes a while for things to get into this thick Norwegian brain of mine but I have had a lot of searching in my heart, head and with the Lord.  I am finding a peace which makes me happy.

I've decided to back off of facebook a little bit. You can get swallowed up by it.

I'm going to try some new things. Not ready to talk about them yet, but we will see how things go.

On this I will still post my thoughts and prayers. Afterall it is my journal. I post too much on facebook for everyone to read on my friends list. I am sure they are annoyed by me. But here they don't have to read or they can if they want. Most people don't go to a separate site.  My kids don't...except Heather.

I have decided I am not a fan of the 4th of July anymore. It was a war zone here!!!! I think it is just seeing it through my animals eyes instead of kids eyes now. haha!  Last night was crazy. Dog never shut up. Even after I finally went to bed with him after 1 a.m.....every once in a while one would go off during the night and he would fly off the bed into the livingroom barking.  I think he scared the cat more than the fireworks. lol.  And since the 4th was on a Friday night it was crazier!  Which means the 4th will continue through the weekend. yippee.   Next year we have decided to go camping. There are no fireworks allowed in state parks. The cat will be fine at home without the dog freaking out. And Scruffy was panting last night. He isn't afraid of them...he wants to attack them. Oh well.  Weekend will be over soon.
