Papa hit, Seahawks hit, and I sit.

What a weekend!  Saturday was a nothing day. The girls had games but they were so far away we usually skip those games. Not much to talk about from Saturday because except we went to Subway in Kingston and had the best sandwiches ever! Our sandwich maker...Andrew Black...rocked it again!  Love it!  Papa wanted to get Lauren a sandwich and drop off and so we guessed at what she liked. I knew a few things Andrew put on there she wasn't going to like... like ham, spinach, and he picked the wrong bread. But she ate half and left 1/2 for her mom.  She came home with us and right away Gregory came over and took her next door to play with him and Cameron.  Don't know how much longer that will last. They are all growing up so fast.  We watched Harry Potter with her.... have never watched it before. We could be the only people ever to have miss it!

Sunday morning we just couldn't get going in the morning!!!!  Kind of wish we never did! Or papa didn't.  First of all we missed church.  Lauren and I took Maddie to her rehearsal. She is going to compete again with Jaycee in the beauty pageant. They did it together 2 years ago and are doing it again! Pretty exciting! We watched the rehearsal from the van.  Told papa to just stay home and enjoy football! So he did!  We stopped at Costco to look at this recliner I loved and they still had it.  But it is $400.00 and I couldn't see spending that much when I could get one for $250.  So instead the girls and I ate pizza and hot dog there. Before we left papa called.  He decided to meet me at walmart. He didn't need to but he does what he wants. So we get to Walmart and get a phone call from him. He said he can't meet us because he was rear-ended!!!! I got upset, of course, and wanted to run to him. He said it wasn't a big deal and he was just waiting for the cops to come.  Andrew called and I told him what was going on and he told Amanda. Let Karla know too but decided to keep the girls because they wanted to play together. Got what I needed and then drove by where Lanny was standing outside of his car. There were 3 cars involved.  A lady from Alaska was driving her daughters (who lives in Port Angeles) car. On highway 3, which is 55 miles and hour....she was going up to the crest of the hill where the light was flashing to warn you of the stoplight ahead...she said she saw the sign and the car ahead of her stopped. She slammed on her brakes and veered to the right and hit the car that was stopped in front of her. He, in turn, ran into papa's car. Luckily papa was far enough behind the Mercedes sports car in front of him that he didn't hit him. It stunned him. It was quite a shock.  I stopped for a minute and he said to just go home and wait, he was fine, and the cop was there. So we came home and waited. I tried to call Tara but no one was home...so I called Heather. I figured Ryan would hear from Amanda. Luckily he wasn't hurt and it wasn't bad.

But today....after all the insurance garbage you would think it was a huge deal. We've been on the phone this morning for an hour or so.  Now they called again and I can see him getting frustrated. But he is asking them a lot of really good questions so he is doing good.  Keeping track of everything.  He is going to the doctor tomorrow only because it needs to be on record that his neck and shoulders are a little sore.  He isn't out to get what he can. He isn't that way. It will be interesting how it will play out. It doesn't look too bad but they said it is about $1,000 worth of damage.

Then the weather freaked out after he got home. We had such a crazy thunder storm and it was pouring rain and my dog was not happy!!!!! Karla picked Maddie up.  Lauren stayed for dinner and tried her best to calm Toby.  She did play with the cat and managed to wear him out. He slept all day too!

But on the good side of the day ....he came home and watched his team Seattle Seahawks beat San Francisco 49er's. Which was weird too. The game was postponed for a while because of the storm going through. No lightening can be happening. So that was strange. But our team did win. It was kind of a snooze fest at times, but it was awesome.  We are 2-0. Plus we beat the sound barrier in Guinness book of records.

This man (Papa) drives me crazy!!!!!  He tells me to settle down.  I hate that.  Then I say "I'm not excited!" And then he says "Now you are." Brat.  But he is making steak tonight. Nummy!

My poor Heather had a dust storm last night. She lives in the middle of no where with lots of dirt and fields every where.  It came into her house and every crook and cranny. Her and don spent the day cleaning. :(   That stinks.

Went and got me a recliner like papa's today.  Hope I like it. lol!
