Court is done.

I cannot believe I haven't written again!  I am trying but time slips away. And I admit it... I got sucked into Sims on facebook and am now an addict.  It will pass. They all do.  As soon as it slows my computer down too much and I get totally frustrated!

I went to the courthouse. Andrew, Lauren, and Maddie went with us. Andrew set off the metal detector going in. lol!  The lady explained my three choices:
1. I can plead my case to the judge.....it is in his hands and he will say if I am guilty or not. If I am it goes on my insurance and record. Do I want to chance it?
2. I can pay $80 and I am cool unless I get a ticket within a year...then I am in trouble. Do I want to chance it?
3. I can pay $137 (which is more than my ticket of $124) and it is totally off my record like it never happened.
I took option 3.  It made me mad as I was writing the check because I know I am innocent!!! Failure to use a turn signal? Really? The principal and all....ya know?  But I would rather pay extra now than have my insurance go up and pay extra every month! So I sucked it up and paid it.

We went to Big Apple Diner after we were done and had an early dinner. That was fun and nummy.

Well... last night I got on line. I am 55 and am having so many medical issues going on with me it is starting to freak me out. I have a doctors appt. on the 8th.  But I now can see what is going on with me....so many things point to menopause. I expected hot flashes....maybe some crankiness...but not the rest that is going along with it. I will warn my daughters so they are not confused or surprised when their time comes!  All I can say is I thought I was skating through it and this sucks.

I am proud to say....yesterday I got the den clean, the livingroom, and the toyroom!  I am glad about that....and my desk looks better....but I have to admit most of the time it looks like this picture! Except it is a black and white cat above instead of a teddy bear. lol!

Well.... this is short and sweet.... I just know you were all dying to know the conclusion of The Ticket.

Well, there she goes... that's that - wipe your hands off, kick the dust off your feet...chin up...carry on. there. I love to do something, even if I don't relish it, and be able to walk away - nod my head and say DONE!..don't look back!
yeah...menopause...stinks. sometimes the emotional ride is far more filled with heights and depths than all the physical stuff put together...but just knowing what it is and having an explanation that we can say..."okay I know why I am feeling this way or acting this way"...just helps a LOT! *NOT*GOING*CRAZY*...we're just walking a portion of this season where it's bumpy!! love it when the path is smooth for a bit...ya know? Hugs to you, Joyce. Have a MERRY MONDAY! :-) xo
