Standing up for what's right is not an easy thing to do. In fact, some people feel it is easier to go with the flow of whatever is popular at the time or avoid the issue altogether. Sadly, this can lead to an entire culture of weak, misguided, and apathetic people. Sound familiar? As one person states, "When 40 million people believe in a dumb idea, it's still a dumb idea. So if you believe in something that's good, honest, and right, stand up for it."
Whether you're dealing with ethical issues at work or moral issues with friends and family, don't be afraid to stand up for what you know is right. It may be difficult, but it will be worth it. Take God's hand, and take a stand!

My basic principle is that you don't make decisions because they are easy; you don't make them because they're popular; you make them because they're right.Theodore Hesburgh
