Sunday night post!

It is Sunday night after dinner.  Papa made such a good dinner! Not the healthiest of meals but so tasty!  Chicken Fried Steak, Mashed Potatoes,  Gravy and Corn!  Last night was really good too.  I wish so bad I could show you Lauren's face as she was eating the Baby back ribs papa made but I promised her I wouldn't post them on facebook or my blog. They are soooo cute! We had baked potatoes and corn on the cob too. Here is what I can show you:

It was two good dinners.  I started a new system that seems to be working really good!  It looks something like this:

Sunday                        Monday                   Tuesday                    etc....
Chicken Fried Steak     Chili Dogs                Baked Chicken
BBQ Steak                  Chili & Corn Bread   Chicken Fettuccine
Salisbury Steak            Spaghetti                  Chicken & Dumplings
Swiss Steak                  Pizza                       Chicken and Rice

This is just an example. It isn't my menu but sort of. Sunday is Steak, Monday is easy meal, Tuesday is Chicken, Wednesday is Breakfast, Thursday is Hamburger, and Friday is Fish or Pork. Saturday is whatever.  This way we can look at the menu and decide what we want on Monday, etc. It is working out quite well. When we bought bulk hamburger Lanny made the meatloaf, meatballs, wrapped burger and wrote Sloppy Joe on it etc.... so it makes it really simple. I love our new system.

Yesterday we went and watched Riley play a soccer game in the tournament in Sequim (which is about 30 miles from here). Lauren really wanted to see her cousin play and she learned some things. But we could only stay one game because we had to come home and elevate her foot and ice it.  Riley's team did well. They lost the first game Friday night, won both yesterday. Then this morning she had a game and Papa went to watch. They won which put them into the championship game...so he stayed for that game too and she lost. But 2nd place isn't bad at all! So proud of her!

Jordy had a drink and a fly went on it...here is her mom trying to blow it off. Jo threw it away. lol!

I liked this too. Lauren wanted a "little" bit  of ice cream with chocolate syrup and sprinkles. Here is what he gave her! Funny guy!

Andrew came over last night to tell us all about his week at camp. Sounds like he had a blast. Even though they got rained on a few times!  Not cool when everything gets soaked.  But it didn't stop the Spirit! God worked in amazing ways!  I found a couple of pictures on line of him and stole them to post how much fun they had!

Anyway, he sat and talked til almost 11:00 and started getting really sleepy. So we made up the bed in the spare room and he slept in there. I am glad he didn't drive home as tired as he was. He washed a load of his clothes before bed. He hadn't even been home yet.  This morning Lauren took her shower and they went home. I already miss her!!! I think we'll have her tomorrow while Andrew works but not Tuesday.  I kinda like having the booger around. She makes me laugh. Such a funny sense of humor!

Well, I am going to try to get into a pattern and start my old post up with my devotions.  I think that would be a good thing. And riding my exercise bike every morning.  Working on it for one week. See how it goes. Right?
