this, that and the other....

Thinking about my mama....still coping with the loss but smile when I see her picture. She went to the most wonderful and peaceful place ever and her smile is real now. I love mama's smile. It will be 10 months tomorrow.  I am mentioning it today because tomorrow is Maddie's birthday and I don't want to take anything away from it. 


Speaking of Maddie....I need her to get over to my house! The huckleberries are so ripe! She loves berries....huckleberries, salmon berries, blackberries, strawberries, any berry! She a berry girl!

The neighbor dog (her name is Neighbor) comes over every morning. Toby tolerates her....not thrilled. She gets a drink and runs circles around him. Sandy is more his speed. lol!


What day is it?? Everyday feels like Sunday. The 4th of July was only a few days ago? This has been a very long week! 


I had lunch with Marcey on Thursday. It was so pleasant and nice. We hashed out life and caught up on the changes in ours.  I cannot wait to get together with her again.  I think it is going to be Monday! I am taking me some grand-kids over in the afternoon to swim. She has a pool and invited us...and it is suppose to be 80!  I will pack some snack food and water and we will be on our way! I am excited. 
I stopped by the school on my way to meet her and turned in my key and badge to Joanna and Tammy was there.  All I could do was smile as I walked out of that office with permigrin!  I felt happy.  Sarah wasn't having such a great day....I was afraid of that with the day after the 4th and the room change and all.  But she said Friday went better.
Friday I went and had lunch at Kings Wok with Karla and Tara for Karla's birthday. It was so nice and it was so good! We all ate SO MUCH FOOD! It is a buffet and I guess we took advantage of it. lol! Then afterwards I went to Target and bought a swimsuit. I am so fat right now....and I was stuffed to the brim. Not a pleasant shopping experience. But I found one I can live with. Boy...I need to take off some weight! Pigging out two days in a row.  The honeymoon of leaving Martha and Mary is over...now time to get to work on myself. 
Speaking of M and M.... now that I am gone I can pretty much say what I want. They kept us under a tight gag order (lol) but the guy that told us how need to be careful what we say or write ... and that we represent M and M ...is now wanted for murder. Yep, you read it right.  Killing his ex wife. Scott was the human resource guy for my work and always did the orientation. In fact, he was in the meeting with me and Joanna last Friday. And the funny thing is....that is the last time he was at work. He found out they found his ex-wife's body (must have been after our meeting) and he was gone.

I never cared for him....I found him a bit arrogant and unfriendly. I hope they catch him soon. Praying for his family...especially his kids. He has a 12 year old daughter and a 20 year old son. What was he thinking?


Anyway...this is Saturday...the sun is coming up and it is going to be a bright, sunshiny day! I am meeting Sarah at the library so she can check out the books I reserved for next week. I can show her the ins and outs of all the book stuff. Maybe I will find myself a book on how to play the piano.  That is something I always wanted to do.

I need to do something with myself....I love planning and now that I have no classroom to plan for.... I will direct my talents somewhere else. Maybe I should write a book.  I'm good with getting my pictures organized for now.
