Crafts? Me? And dog training!

If you know me....you know I am not a crafty person.  I am not creative. I am not crafty. I don't even enjoy working on crafts. I get no enjoyment or satisfaction out of them.  However....like cooking shows I like to look at them.  I love watching cooking shows but not a fan of cooking.  Weird, aren't I?  Anyway, I have come across a few easy crafts even I could do....if I wanted.  I'm sharing them with you!

Today is my niece Denise's birthday!!!  Happy birthday, girl!!!!

This weekend is our family Cookie / Ornament exchange!  We've had them for years and skipped last year because no one wanted to host it.  Libby usually did and then Lois did one year. I decided it was my turn now.  I am hoping the girls will take it over one year.  I want to see it keep going...especially now that Riley, Lauren and Madi are coming!  Usually we wait until girls are 13 but I made the call for them to come now. They are mature enough, for sure.  They can be little ladies.  I think they will love it. Except Lauren won't make it this year.  She has basketball tournaments up in Port Angeles on Saturday and Sunday.  Makes me sad but it is what it is!  I still have to buy an ornament and figure out what cookies to make. Papa always makes his no-bakes.  Kevon always gets a plate of cookies, too.

I am thinking about these brownies...

Maybe fudge or sugar cookies?  Don't know.  It will be fun getting together! There should be about a dozen of us. My home isn't very big but it is comfy I hope.  Pictures to follow!

Just watched the Falcons score on the Packers! It is tied 7-7 and snowing there!  I hope Atlanta wins! Well, I cleaned house today.  Have presents to wrap soon.  I am expecting one more to arrive.

Last night was terrible sleep so papa and I took naps today.  Felt so tired.  Scruffy has been a brat lately with his barking.  Papa caters to him and allows him to bark like he is just talking to him any time.  I woke up saying NO MORE!  I've always been the alpha with our pets and papa spoils. Twice last night our cat tried to get by my feet to sleep and Scruffy growled and chased him out of the room!  Not sure why he did it except to be a brat. He also did his play barking in the middle of the night a few times. No, no, no!  I am not going to have that! (I sound so mean...hehe)  So today I have been working with him on his barking.  He barks he can go outside and do it!  The only time I am letting him bark inside is if him and papa are playing, someone comes to the door, or the garbage man is picking up our garbage. lol!  Hard to believe he is so ornery!!!!
