Monday morning. Father's Day over.

It is Monday morning and kind of yucky out. Cloudy and a chance of yuck.  We had to turn the heat on this morning. It was 48 outside!  Should be getting better.

So Flag day we did much of nothing.  Father's Day we did much of nothing. We went to church in the morning. Mario White preached. Then we just came home. Papa got a  phone call from Ryan, Heather, Tara and the girls. Karla left a facebook message, Ryan and Heather wrote nice facebook messages. That was it. Ryan invited his dad to breakfast but we were on the way to church. Papa made awesome steak and baked potatoes for dinner. It didn't seem like Father's Day. Papa sent Jack (his stepdad) a card and called him.  He is the only dad he's ever had and he loves him. He's very respectful of him and their relationship has really changed over the years.

I made some nice collages for my son and son-in-laws I think they like. Here they are:
Brad and his girls!
Joel with his kiddos!
Don and his boys!
Ryan and Lauren

Ryan and Andrew
I was going to make them all with separate kids but decided not too. lol!  Here is one or two more I made:

Then there is my dad. I miss him. Always will.  My bff and I were talking at church.  Both of us have lost our dads.  What a weird expression...they aren't lost! We know where they are!  However, we don't have them with us anymore.  It really hits you when you can't call them.  You always think they will be there.  I just want to call my dad and say "Happy Father's Day, Daddy!!!!" And he would say "Well, thank you!  You want to talk to your mother?"  or  he would say "Bah humbug!"  lol! He sure would love my Scruffy dog.  He loved dogs.  Andrew and Parker are both taller then my dad now. I can picture them standing with him. Lots of things go through my head. Just wish I could call him.  I miss him.
love my daddy

His birthday! Always had a cup of coffee! Black and strong.

Me and dad in the car. What seatbelt? lol

Dancing with my daddy at my wedding!

Here is last years:

So yesterday my computer was so messed up!!! I thought it was something wrong with my  laptop. I cleaned it up etc....  Then Papa told me he heard on the news he heard there were solar stuff going on so that explains it. I still haven't heard nothing. And I couldn't google anything.  I guess I will look it up today.
Papa and I like watching Food Network Star together. We watch a few cooking competition shows together. And we watch 24, Revolution, Major Crimes, The Mentalist, Walking Dead, and The Dome. When we don't watch these shows we are in separate rooms...him in the den and me in the livingroom. He watches westerns, Wagon Train, NCIS, and shows like Life Below 0, Mountain Man, Ice Road Truckers.  I watch the Bachelorette, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, House Hunters, Property Brothers, and more.  We usually record these shows and watch them later. This is our retirement life.

We did start riding the bike the other day. We have ridden 4 miles so far, which means we are are maybe across the bridge. Oh, we are on a stationary bike.  My mom rode to Georgia on hers! lol!

Well, not sure what is going on this week but we shall see. Hope you all a great week!!!
